Spacious apartment on 5th floor, in quiet cul de sac off Rue de Grenelle. Easy access to transportation,restaurants and shops, and Les Invalides, and Tour Eiffel, Rue Cler. Great for two couples or family of 4. Very light, all amenities! 2 bedrooms with double beds and there is an extra single mattress. Bathroom is quite large with separate shower and tub, double sinks.
There is a WC (toilet) separate with wash basin (two toilets in all. Kitchen has a small view of the top of the Eiffel Tower. Adequate counter space, electric stove, fan and microwave. Living is quite large.

I am probably in one of best locations in Paris, on the 5th floor very light and 1 1/2 baths. I am one block from the famous Rue Cler and Champs de Mars. There is lots of bus and metro transportation within 10 min walk.

This is an excellent example of why I prefer finding a private apartment over a hotel.
The apartment is perfect. Two competely separate toilets. A giant, cozy bathtub. A clean shower. No kold, no mildew. The towels smelled freh and clean. The appliances all work great. And the oven is fantastic! I wish my high-end oven in my own home worked as well as this one! A complete kitchen with a huge (for Paris) refrigerator and freezer, a double basin sink large enough to comfortably prepare big meals, a four-top range, and all of the cooking tools you need to easily make nice meals.
Ventilation is never a problem. Even during a heat wave in August, the apartment stayed much cooler than outside ambient temperatures. There are large windows in every room that catch great breezes and let perfect light into the apartment without heating it up from the solar. That's rare. And they all have curtains to darken if necessary. The water from the tap tasted better and was colder than the water from my expensive upscale refrigerator back in the US. And when showering, the hot water comes from a central location in the building that never runs out. Trust me, three teenage girls tested that well.
It's quiet, peaceful, and charming. It's safe, secure, and upscale residential. The elevator works great. There's no noisy construction or commercial activity near it. It's within a 15-minute walk of nearly everything a visitor wants to see in Paris, like the Eiffel Tower, the Grand Palace museum, the Musée d'Orsay, the Assembly National, and the world's best supermarché (Le Grande Epicierie) and my favorite department store in the world (Bon Marché). And for the places farther away, like the Notre Dame and BHV Marais, there are two metro stops only a few hundred meters in each direction (Ecole Militaire and La Tour-Maubourg).
This is one of the best location in Paris- it's right near Rue Cler, which is one of the best streets in the world. Seriously, google 'rue cler', and you'll find it mentioned with affection. Four outstanding greengrocers, multiple excellent restaurants, four wine shops, specialty butcheries, specialty cheese shops, specialty seafood shops...the list is the reason I come to Paris. And they are all a 3-minute walk just around the corner.

We stayed 4 weeks in the lovely apartment. It's only a block from the famous shopping district in the 7th - Rue Cler. For 3 weeks, it was just 2 of us; for the last week, there were 4 adults. Space was not a problem. The building is secure and has a lift. Located on the 5th floor, at the end of a dead-end street, the apartment is above the limited street noise. You could not ask for better and still be in one of "old" Paris apartment buildings. Large windows in all rooms and 12' ceilings add the spacious feel. i agree with other reviews about location and description of the apartment. The owner was available by a free phone call to the US or by email when we had questions - she was most helpful, but we only need to contact her about minor questions.
This apartment was wonderful and very spacious and gives a feel of real Paris living. For a family of 4 it was furnished with everything we needed. It's in a great location near lots of fresh food shops and restaurants and only a few blocks from the metro. Eiffel tower a quick walk away and as everyone noted you can even see it out the window. Would highly recommend!
I have rented this wonderful apartment several times when I have gone to Paris. The location is wonderful and is in a beautiful and well-maintained small apartment building, almost at the foot of the Tour Eiffel. In fact you can see the tower lights blinking from the kitchen window!
It is well furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to make a fabulous meal, but there are also many great restaurants and take-out places with fabulous french food very close to the apartment.
I would highly recommend a stay in this lovely apartment.
This truly spacious apartment was a wonderful place for a family rendez-vous in Paris. Our teenager loved having his own space when we weren't out exploring the monuments of the city - all within a short Paris walk. Seeing the Eiffel Tour out the kitchen window was an added plus! The owner provided great tips for the neighborhood so that we could either enjoy a quiet meal at home with fresh ingredients from the outdoor market or patisseries located right around the corner - or a lovely meal out at one of the recommended cafes. Wish we could have spent more time just hanging out, as it was truly a lovely setting! The only condition to staying here is to be an animal lover. We enjoyed taking care of the cat as it added the affectionate "welcome home" feeling when we returned from a day of touring.The cat also provided our daily wake-up call so that we could get up and enjoy the sites!It was a great place to enjoy being a "local" for a week.
One of nicest arrondisements in Paris, near buses and metro, and many shops and restaurants. Les Invalides is also within 10 minutes. Post office and shopping are all within 5 - 10 min walk.
