The Alpine Chalet at Incline is a spacious 3,000 square foot fully-equipped free-standing vacation home with filtered lake views. The home comfortably accommodates 14 (max 12 adults/2 children) on three separate levels - complete with 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The chalet has recently been remodeled and stylishly decorated with custom themes and comfortable furnishings. The home is located in the heart of Incline Village, Tahoe’s quintessential year-round vacation setting for people with recreation and relaxation in mind. You will find an abundance of specialty retail and grocery stores and a number of diverse restaurants within a 2 mile radius of the property. Additionally, several area amenities including Diamond Peak Ski Resort (1/2 mile), the Hyatt Casino (1 mile) and the Incline Private Beaches (2 to 4 miles) are in close proximity to the chalet.
The Alpine Chalet at Incline is nestled on a cul-de-sac with soaring pine trees and filtered lake views. With over 3,000 square feet, the house is ideally suited for large families or a perfect retreat for a group of friends. The following is a brief description of each level of the chalet:
The lowest level of the house sleeps six in two bedrooms (one bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a full size bed with a twin bunk over it and a twin trundle that pulls out if needed underneath it). It is complete with a full bath and a large rec room.
The spacious rec room has a slate pool table, sectional couch (with pull out full size sleeper), 52' big screen TV/home theatre and a wet bar complete with a small refrigerator and microwave. The rec room is themed in the traditional Tahoe style complete with hardwood and slate floors, knotty pine wood wainscoating and beamed ceilings.
This level can be accessed through a separate outdoor entrance or through an interior door connected to the upper levels of the house.
This is the main living space of the chalet and is entered from the cul-de-sac or garage. It is complete with a full kitchen and dining room which open into the living room. Additionally you will find a large mud room complete with a desk (Wi-Fi through out the house), benches, large coat closet and the washer-dryer. The kitchen is a cook's dream as it is well stocked with all of your cooking needs and complete with a dining area that seats up to 14. The kitchen was completely remodeled with hickory cabinets, granite counter tops, all new stainless steel appliances including a double oven and a large island style breakfast bar.
The crowning touch to this level is the spacious living room which can comfortably accommodate your whole group. The Living room is complete with vaulted beamed ceilings, antique decor, new furniture including two leather settee's in front of the large gas fireplace, a 52' flat screen TV/Home Theatre all of which is facing a window wall of sliding doors to the deck. The deck spans the length of the house and has panoramic views of the lake through the pine trees. Don't forget to make use of the seasonal patio furniture and catch a breathtaking Tahoe sunset or sunrise!
The third and top level has 3 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps six. The Master Bedroom has a king bed, a private master bath, and a window with a terrific lake view. Two additional bedrooms with traditional chalet style balconies that face the cul de sac are located on this level. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a full size bed both sharing a full bath (recently remodeled).

A bunch of family members decided to purchase the chalet to use it all year round. We already have a ton of great memories and really enjoy the chalet and the area.

After vacationing in the Tahoe area for several years we really enjoyed the Incline Village area as there are a ton of amenities including the beaches, Diamond Peak Ski Resort, restaurants, the Casino, etc.
Plus it is the closest Tahoe area to Reno and the airport.
The chalet needed a bit of work when we first purchased it in 2004 but we have virtually remodeled the entire chalet.
It is very comfortable and really set up for large groups with the Lower Rec room and upper Living and Dining Areas.
The chalet is located in a private development plus our home is on a cul de sac so there is very little traffic.
Additionally, the community private pool, jacuzzi and tennis courts are a great amenity that we use all of the time

Four couples stayed here to celebrate a big birthday and we had a FANTASTIC time! The kitchen was very adequately stocked and we cooked all of our meals here over the four days. We also brought wine and champagne in abundance and we were pleasantly surprised to find appropriate glasses for everything we drank. There were also many levels with rooms on each level, so we were never "on top of each other" and still managed to have privacy when we wanted it. We were only a three minute drive to Diamond Peak which made skiing very easy. We loved the gas fireplace, but the heater worked perfectly to keep us warm. During the sunny days, we sat out on the deck and enjoyed the filtered views. It was the perfect spot for a large group. We also loved the pool table and downstairs entertainment area! We can't wait to come back again...with room for even more people next time.
We rented this house with the plan to ski Northstar yet enjoy the beauty of incline village. We were not disappointed. We rented the house last minute and the owners really stepped up to get us in there and really helpful in providing information. The house was just as described. The kitchen is brand new and well stocked with anything a cook needs. There are three bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs which allowed our large party two distinct living spaces. The kids took the downstairs and could play pool and make noise without keeping us up. The house is so large we all had space. The kitchen table fit all of us for nice family dinners. Sitting on the couch and watching the snow fall through the large family room windows was so peaceful. We absolutely loved the place and will rent it again!
We have stayed at this house a few times and have found it extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped for large families. It is beautifully furnished and large enough to both kids and adults to spread out. I definitely recommend it!

Our extended family (7 adults, 2 children ages 10 &8) stayed here for 7 nights in March 2010. Many things we liked about the house:
1. Easy to get to
2. Close to Diamond Peak ski resort (2 minutes away) and Northstar ski resort (15 minutes away)
3. Raleys (groceries, etc.) is 5 minutes away
4. Well-equipped kitchen
5. Large enough for a large group to have their own bedrooms, bathrooms and lving spaces
6. Pool table & video games for the kids
7. Very clean and well-maintained
8. Priced at least 25% cheaper than comparable homes in the area
9. The owners were very helpful with directions and answering questions
Only a couple of nitpicks:
1. A hair dryer in each bathroom would be nice (only 1 is provided)
2. Internet service dropped out a couple times (once for a couple hours), but of course this is not the fault of the owners
3. Stairs going to the lower level are steep - need to be careful (2 in our party fell on the first day)
We have stayed at 10 rentals over the years, and this house was one of the best. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay on the north side of the lake.
Our very large family spent a week in early February,2010. This is an outstanding vacation home. Great Atmosphere and location. All of the furniture, appliances, and decor are top notch. The kitchen is large and very well stocked. This is the best we've ever had in 32 years of ski weeks. It was great fun for all ages from 2 to 71. It is reasonably priced in my opinion.

RATES & TERMS-PLEASE READ:
For Guests that use the Home Away/VRBO Online Payments please know that we try to respond to all reservation requests within 24 hours. Please do not assume that your reservation is denied if we do not respond in the 24 hour period. Also, we have included a generic version of our Agreement for your review which gives you important information about your stay including Rental Terms & Property Rules.
In order to secure your rental, we will fill out and send our Rental Agreement via email for you to fill out and return. Your reservation will not be secured until we have received your deposit, final payment and signed Agreement.
Sometimes the rate quote does not accurately account for our rates so please do verify rates and minimums based on the following terms:
Our standard high season rate (Summer and Winter) is $385/night or if you stay a week you get one night free so the weekly rate is $2,310
Our standard low season rate (Spring and Fall) is $315/night or if you stay a week you get two nights free so the weekly rate is $1,575
All Summer and Winter Holidays have a 5 night minimum. We have a 7 night minim during the month of July and the first 3 weeks of August - Rentals would be Saturday to Saturday unless there are bookend dates available.
Thanksgiving is $385/night with a 4 night minimum or $2,000 for the week
Christmas and New Years are $650/night with a 5 night minimum FOR EACH HOLIDAY with one night free if you rent a week per holiday. We do require Final payment on Holiday Rentals 75 days before your arrival date.
2016 Holiday dates are as follows; Christmas and New Years dates are from 12/23 to 1/4
Please add a one time cleaning fee of $200 Plus a 13% Mandatory Lodging Tax to all cleaning and rental fees
Security deposit is half your rental amount with a minimum of $1,000
