About Jim O'Malley

Hi, welcome to our home away from home. Our condo is 25 miles from our house so we use this condo regularly in the summer time. Our son grew up playing on the private beach in the back of the condo. Amazing location-close to restaurants, both intercoastal and Gulf of Mexico! Lots of great memories. Come share the fun with our family.

Why Jim O'Malley chose Florida Central Gulf Coast

If your looking for a smaller building with lots of charm and comfort, we are the place for you. We love the ability to hang underneath the building while enjoying the view of the water in the shade, diving off the dock or walking across the street to the Gulf of Mexico.

What makes this condo unique

Boat dock if needed. Have friends pick you up in their boat and take a spin!

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time and really enjoyed staying here! The location is great. Everything you could want is within walking distance. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming. It was nice having inter coastal and ocean side access. Our young kids enjoyed the condo as well. Plenty of room for families. The owners were great and communicated well. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks!

Good

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay.

The view of the docks from the balcony was good. There was easy access to the beach across the street and my wife got some great photos.

The rooms were large and the beach towels they provided were much better than the ones we brought.

While I liked the appearance of the spiral staircase, carrying the luggage up them to the bedrooms was a bit of a challenge. Lesson learned, bring smaller bags next trip

Since there was a tropical storm (Collin) during our stay with 11 inches of rain one day, the selection of books and games in the residence were much appreciated.

We will certainly consider staying here again.

Very enjoyable stay

  • 5 of 5

Nice place with plenty of room to stretch out. Amazing views from the balconies. Bars and restaurants within walking distance and the Gulf beaches are right across the street. I was able to fish from the dock on the property. Just watch out for the friendly pelicans and heron as they will try to steal your catch. Saw dolphins several times during the week. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

The Bay Breeze was a five star place

  • 5 of 5

The place was roomy and clean. We were in for a wedding and the location was perfect. One night we grilled in the lower area with friends and family and everyone said it was a great place. We would stay here again and recommend this place to anyone.

Relaxing fun filled week

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at Bay Breeze it was a beautiful and spacious place. The kids had a wonderful time playing ping pong, and swimming in the bay while we prepared dinner on the grill!! The short walk across the way to the ocean was nice. We loved our stay at Treasure Island and would definitely return to this condo in the future!! Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!!

Great choice for a family!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Jim's place over the new year with our 4 high school and college age kids. Everything was just as we had hoped from the pictures and reservation contacts with Jim. While not "completely new", the apartment has been updated here and there over the years. More importantly, everything was nice and clean. Ample space for all of us.

Convenient location for the beach, and everything else we wanted (restaurants, groceries, surf shop, etc.). We rented a couple paddle boards for our stay from the surf shop just up the road. The rest of the units were occupied by their owners, and this is Jim's family's get away as well - definitely more of a ownership feel to the place than a rental property (big plus in our eyes). The neighbors were nice people who we found very welcoming. The common area patio and such is perfect for grilling and hanging out.

Fishing off the docks at Jim's place was a blast. We caught Snook, Jack Cravelle, Grouper, and Trout. The bait shop in town set us up with inexpensive rental rods and shrimp for bait!

The beach is awesome. Right across the road is a huge beach area that was virtually empty at a busy time. We found ourselves opting for the 10 minute walk up the beach to hang out at the local watering hole on the beach, Caddy's. Plenty of fun there day or night, and a accomodating guy named Eric in charge of the loaner chairs (next door and unaffiliated with Caddy's). He works off tips, so be generous. In fact, I suggest at least $10 per chair per day, and tell him "50th Birthday Jack" sent you.
