1920's cottage remodeled in 2011 to original style with all the modern amenities. Living room, 1 bdrm, subway tile bath with large walk in shower, fully equipped kitchen includes dishes, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, cook top. Shaded patio and hi def TV. The cottage is located on a former vineyard. In 1874 Isaac Van Horn arrived in Walla Walla, then the largest town in the Washington territory. Toussaint Chabot let Van Horn set up his tent near his vineyard at the corner of 4TH and Birch. Toussaint later donated the land and in 1875 the first Seventh-day Church was erected.
Dennis and Jolene Berry arrived in Walla Walla in 2004 after spending several years living and working in Italy. They choose to relocate in Walla Walla because of the beauty of the area, it's European flavor, and to be near one of their 5 children and her family.
Dennis Berry purchased this cottage in 2010
When we moved to the area we built a home in Dayton where our daughter and her family live. Jolene owns a women's boutique in Walla Walla. In our first winter we were forced to spend many night's in Walla walla due to heavy snow. We decided to look for a little house to use when we wanted to stay in the Walla Walla. We saw this little cottage for sale. It was in terrible disrepair. It looked like it needed some help. We bought it and have spent the last year remodeling, doing a lot of the work ourselves. Be sure to look at our before and after album .

Very well organized and equipped place, clean as well. Centrally located. Owner very responsive to questions. Thank you!
Great little cottage. Has all you need. Clean, comfortable, and relaxing.
It would get five stars except for the lack of view and the fact that we had a drain issue the last morning. The owner said he had had it fixed so I blame the plumber.
We will definitely stay here again.
Nice and clean place. We found it to be very central to everywhere we went, the location was perfect for us. I think our only "issues" is the bed is very small for a couple and there wasn't any extra toilet paper beyond the little bit on the roll when showing up. Everything else was great! I would come back here to stay alone!!
This VRBO is a small, clean, and well-stocked cottage. It is a great place to stay if you're interested in visiting downtown Walla Walla.
I really liked this little place. Despite its small size, it have everything we needed, and as billed, was very clean. The bathroom was spectacular in white subway tile. Just a couple things would have made it even better...a little table and 2 chairs to sit at for eating breakfast. Dennis came quickly to fix the TV (dish), which was very appreciated. All in all, a great place that I will likely return to when its time for 2. Thank you Dennis!
Enjoyed our stay at this location! Was able to walk to nearby tasting rooms and coffee-(go to coffee perk!) Called the owner Dennis, who helped us find location and let us drop our bags off a little before our check in because of a time crunch. Happy to have found it!
