Lovely condo! Updated just a few years ago, with fresh paint, new tile in Kitchen, bath, and new flooring. Unit is approximately 850 SF. It is best suited for 4, but can accommodate up to 6. It is completely turnkey and furnished, ready for your get-a-way. Amenities include Master bedroom with king-size bed, and separate bath, sofa-bed that sleeps 2 in den allowing room to convert into second-style bedroom , 2nd bath and shower in hall. Sit down to a cup of Kona coffee or tea in the dining area, or simply relax in the living room area. Our condo also houses a new washer/dryer, dishwasher and additional appliances to make a lovely culinary experience. Beach chairs, mats, towels, cold bag for beach and travel, extra queen air bed and futon available in closet. Back lanai faces lovely golf course with the sound of tropical birds. Great parking, lower level, elderly and family-friendly. Pool and small exercise room are also available for your enjoyment.
Keauhou Palena is located approximately just 10 minutes south of Historic Kailua Village. This complex is surrounded by lush vegetation and the area was once occupied by the Ali'i (royal families) Amazing Keauhou Bay is just minutes walking distance away. There, you can take a dip, swim, paddle, or partake of the many excursions available on the island.
Nearby shopping at Keauhou Shopping Center is just a few minutes up the road with groceries, Longs, cinema, restaurants, stores, Farmers' market on Saturday, Friday night entertainment and Urgent Care.
SNORKELING can be found just a few minutes north at Kahalu'u Beach. You might even find a sea turtle swimming nearby! This beach has swimming, surfing, BBQ grills, and life guard available. Always watch for current and tide advisories.
In addition, continue north, another few minutes where you can swim and boogie board!
This is a great location to simply enjoy some rest and relaxation or be as active as you like!

Our unit is family operated. The Big Island has been home for over 13 years. It is peaceful, with a bit of small town heart to it. We love the beaches, mountains, paniolo country, forests, vegetation, volcano, rain forest, gold coast, plantation towns, and so much more--always something new to discover!
It may be a Big Island, but you just might meet someone you know in this small world.

It offers peace and serenity, and a lovely view while still being within easy access to the wonderful sights and activities that Kona and the Big Island have to offer.

Bright, cheery, clean and comfortable condo, with a spacious kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a nice king-sized bed for great sleeping-air conditioner in bedroom, 2 ceiling fans in main area plus cross ventilation through screened doors. The condo provided everything we needed for a wonderful stay (including a cooler, beach towels, and chairs for outings!). Washer/dryer was a real plus! A good location, felt private and safe, pool was great, very close to a shopping center, restaurants, theater and farmer's markets just up the hill. The bay was a nice short walk (or drive) just down the hill, great for a dip in the ocean. Enjoyed having coffee in the mornings on the back patio, looking at all the flowers and palms and listening to the birds. Gladys provided us real warm gracious hospitality, and we thank her for such a great experience. Mahalo!
This was an absolutely wonderful experience. The condo location is perfect - 5 min to the shore with perfect opportunity for an evening stroll and sunset.
Condo fully equipped and has everything you need. Our family (two adults and two teenage boys) felt right at home were we found everything that required for comfortable stay at Big Island. Parking space was right at the door and fully secure. Gladys was so helpful and welcomed us as old friends. We will recommend this condo to our friends and already looking forward to visit it again!.
This condo was perfect. It was very comfortably furnished. Loved having the washer dryer and the full kitchen. Great to have the BBQ on the lanai. The location is great. Very quiet and peaceful. The grounds of the complex are really nice too.

My fiance' and I stayed at this condo during our first trip to Hawaii. It was SO much nicer than staying at a hotel! We felt very much at home and really enjoyed the location, quiet atmosphere and beautiful landscaping. Having a washer and dryer readily available was wonderful and being able to cook our own food saved on expenses and made us feel more at home. We enjoyed having coffee and breakfast on the patio while listening to the birds sing. Watching the lizards and gecko's run around was amusing as well! The air conditioning unit in the Master bedroom was greatly appreciated. Our parking was free and the spot was located right outside our door. The condo itself was darling; very clean with bright colors. Grocery stores and shops were right down the road and sightseeing adventures were right outside our door! Gladys made us feel very welcome, like we were friends already. I have already recommended this property to my parents, who are looking at coming out next year. We will definitely make reservations with Gladys for this property again in the future :)
Simply put, I really enjoyed my stay. I wanted to try something different than saying at some of the hotels in the Kona area, and to my surprise, it was a good change.
The rental is located in a nice area and faces a golf course. The place is clean, and it does not seem like there are many people around, so the place is nice and quiet.
The furnishings are wonderful, along with the kitchen and the master bedroom and bathroom. This gives off a "warm Hawaiian" feel which I did not receive in other places I stayed.
I would diffidently recommend this to someone, and expect to see me again.
We stayed many places on our trip and this was by far the best: the amount of space was wonderful, the bed was the most comfortable, the whole place was clean and quiet. The detail the owner had put into providing everything needed was wonderful.
This lovely unit is located in the lush tropical setting of Keauhou Palena, in Kona. It is approximately 30 minutes from the Kona airport, 10 minutes into historic Kailua-Kona town known for the world famous Ironman Event, Kona Coffee Festival and Mango Festival. Keauhou Palena is within minutes of convenient shopping, restaurants, cinemas, Urgent Care, and boutiques. Also located within a nearby drive is the Famous Captain Cook Monument where you can rent kayaks to watch the dolphins swim. Volcano National Park, along with lava tubes and crater drive are approximately 2 hours south. Along the way, stop by Historical Botanical Gardens, City of Refuge, Bird watching and additional sights in Hilo.
Waimea (Paniolo country), Mauna Kea, Old Hawi Town, Waipio Valley and much more can be found as you drive north and inland.
