We have the best weather of the Hawaiian Islands here in Waikoloa, averaging from 66-88F year round, and we have lots of 'Waikoloa Breeze'. Plumeria Hale has ceiling fans in all of the main rooms, lots of windows and sliding doors, and an air-conditioner for the few days that the trade winds are still in the afternoon. Evenings here are cool.
The location here is great for access to some of the best 'World Class Resorts' and Beaches. Kona Airport is just a 25 minute drive down the highway. Kailua-Kona town is just a 35 minute drive down the highway. Shops, restaurants are good and plentiful. The Village even has an outstanding food market, (try the cream-filled malasada from the bakery, YUM!). There is also a gas station, banks, and churches just 2 minutes away. We hope that you will come and stay awhile, relax, get in-touch with your spirit, and make your self at home in our special Hale.
Dana has been a life time world traveler. She started her adventures in Hawaii as a little 'hula gal' many moon's ago! With many fond memories of this special place, she returned to Hawaii in 2001 and wants to stay here forever.
Dana Foster Parnell purchased this condo in 2004
I just love this location. The tradewinds, the sunshine, the sunsets, and the amazing views that we have in Waikoloa Village were my major draws. We have the best weather here for year round comfort and it is easy to get around the 'Big Island' from this location without all the hustle and bustle of the larger towns. I find that the Village is peaceful yet it offers all the conveniences one needs.
I loved the privacy and the openness of this end unit condo. I have my own garden and 4 Lani's to sit outside. There are lots of doors and windows to capture the wonderful views and breeze. The landscaping, grounds and common area's are beautifully kept. The beaches, shopping, and restaurants are all close by. We have a beautifully kept designer golf course and club house here, and lots of other activities to do outdoors. Everyone is happy and helpful in keeping with the 'Aloha spirit'. It feels like you are always on vacation here!
Dana was incredibly helpful and checked in to make sure everything was okay. Easy access unit with almost everything you need. Basic essentials like soap, sponge and detergents were included. You will need to grab coffee filters and if you plan to cook, double check the cabinets for salt/pepper, etc before you go to the store.
Overall great spot! I would book again!
We always enjoy our time here at the Paniolo Greens. This is our 4th or 5th time renting this unit. So obviously we really like staying here. Dana, the owner is always so helpful and will try her best to work with you to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The unit meets our needs and has a spectacular view. We love Waikaloa Village, it has an excellent grocery store with a fabulous bakery, cooler weather, local flair of the islands, and a couple of good restaurants. It is easy access to all of the wonderful beaches etc.
My family and I had a blast and this Condo fit the bill perfectly for us. Closest unit to the pool area which also had 2 extremely well maintained gas grills which we used on several occasions. The owner, Dana was extremely helpful and responsive as well. I would recommend this unit to anyone considering.
Our stay was very enjoyable. We liked the condo and staff they were very helpful. The condo was comfortable and roomy. We stayed in the same one two years ago. The owner is very hospitable and makes you feel right at home. We will stay there again if the opportunity comes about.
We loved the 3 bedroom top story we rented in The Greens by Waikoloa Village. Location was central to sightseeing and beaches were only 15 minutes away. Great grocery store 1 mile away. View of the sunset every night. Living room had an AC unit, but top floor bedrooms did not, however there were screen doors to open and get a breeze going through to cool things down. Nice pool, hot tub and tennis court. They would also set up ping pong for the kids. Fully stocked kitchenware, beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel and sand toys -- our grandkids loved it!!!
