About Julie

We live in Miami and bought Happy Trails to have a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Our contact person, Julie, is a personal friend of ours who lives in Sevierville. She personally takes care of everything for us here on VRBO/Homeaway and cares for the cabin.

Why Julie chose Tennessee

This is our home away from home and we would like you to feel the same way! If you are from a large city, like us, this is the place to relax. It's so peaceful and relaxing here. We love to sit in the rockers on the front porch and just sit back and enjoy the beautiful view, as we 'unwind'. When we want to go visit the attractions, they are all so close.

We invite you to come and find rest or celebrate the special times in your life here at Happy Trails!

Guestbook comments from the owner

We spent our 1st Anniversary here and couldn't have picked a better place to spend it! Thank you so much! It's so beautiful and peaceful here. Definitely want to come back next year! God Bless!

Booking the cabin with home away was easy and convenient. Everything was just as it was advertised. This was our second stay at the same cabin. Julie was wonderful.

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed from 5/27-5/31 for our one year wedding anniversary. Everything was wonderful! The cabin was clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful stay. We got to visit Gaitlinburg, Pigeon Forge and even drove to Nashville to go to the Grand Ole Opry (the long drive was SO worth it!) We went to Ripley's Aquarium, Dollywood and the Dixie Stampede and enjoyed it all!

We are from Michigan so it was nice to get out of state for a while and enjoy each other and the wonderful southern hospitality. Everyone is so friendly down south!

Hopefully we can one day come back and stay at your beautiful cabin. I am going to recommenced friends and family to stay at your cabin if they ever decide to visit the area. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful cabin/great views

  • 5 of 5

My family and I loved this cabin. Beautiful mountain views. Horse stables across the road is an added bonus. Good size for couple or a small family. Cabin was very clean and cozy. We plan to go back to this cabin, hopefully soon.

Relaxing!!

  • 5 of 5

I have seen this property before, and always admired the location. I have stayed in many cabins in the area and for me this was the best! It was better than I anticipated, and had everything we needed for the perfect relaxing vacation. The location was perfect, the quite was perfect and seeing a bear meandering in the field across the road was amazing! The horses in the field across the road were fun to watch as we sat on the porch in the mornings and evenings. This is my new "favorite" cabin! I'm going back!

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

I have been going to the mountains for over 50 years and seen lots of cabins and places to stay. This cabin is nestled in the Wears valley area overlooking Waldens Creek riding stables and is absolutely perfect for a small family or 2 people. The cabin is clean, decorated in horse theme and very comfortable. The owners do everything to ensue your stay is great. They are very responsive to any questions and requests. The roads are paved all the way and not real crowded. It's close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, but quite and secluded. We really enjoyed sitting with morning coffee and watching the horses graze with mountains in the background. It does have a ramp into the cabin for those that have trouble walking. I highly recommend it and we will be coming back. (Hopefully soon.)

Easter Weekend

  • 5 of 5

The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was so CLEAN! They really do give you everything you need to enjoy a peaceful time just staying in! We have 2 boys, 2 & 6 and they loved playing pool, and even got to play the playstation one night before bed. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the front porch. At certain times of the day you could see the Horse Stable's rides going through the field. The horses grazed in the evening and the boys loved seeing the "millions" of horses, as they called it!

We've stayed in Gatlinburg a handful of times, this is the first time we rented a cabin. I didn't want a cabin that was on the side of a mountain in fear of the boys getting away from us and falling. This cabin is perfectly located just outside of town. It only takes about 10 minutes to get back to town and there's not any scary mountain roads you have to travel. This cabin was perfect for us. We'll be calling Julie the next time we are planning a trip down!!

Julie was very kind and answered any questions or concerns I had during our stay. I definitely recommend this cabin to everyone!
