Great experience at the Max apartmens. Booked the Studio apartment online and on arrival the place looked exactly as described online- definately no blind date suprises!. On arrival the check in was perfect and the staff kindly offered to carry my bags to my room- that was nice! There is a drop off car park inside the gate which is re assuring especially if you have luggage - and uber cars are allowed in. During the stay uber was always 2 mins away!. very handy indeed because I had cancelled my booking for a hired car so was relieved to see that mobility wont be an issue. My room was very quiet, the apartment itself being spacious with nice decor- not new but ok. Didnt get a chance to use the pool though due to hectic schedule. The place does easily become a home away from home. There is so much to ddo in the neigbourhood and afar. J burg is a hive of culture, history all waiting to be explored! I mainly had time for the sightseeing tours- taking in the culture, the history and the museums and the great views!. The unpredictability of it all is quite intruiging. Am not one for shopping but Rosebank and Sandton malls did provide that option with a world class shopping experience. The hotel is definately a good base I will certainly be back at the hotel.

Check in was quick and efficient.security took long to open gate.even at night!which can be dangerous! Housekeeping didn't freshen our room till 15:00 the first day.secomd day.it was not freshened at all!had to ask reception for clean towels and room drops as Housekeeping had gone off!that was a let down.There was no receptionist when we left on Sunday 6:20!so we left as we had an early flight to catch.Otherwise,great hotel close to Rise bank and Sandton!will definitely come back!
