When you are on a ski vacation, there's nothing like staying slope side...first tracks in the morning after a dump overnight, coming in for lunch or to change clothes or warm up by the fireplace or even extending your day by night skiing. Our condo is located right in the heart of Powder Mt ski resort. It offers all the conveniences of home including a 2 car garage at the basement level. There are 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Each bedroom contains a queen bed, closet, and nightstand. One of the bedrooms has a twin bunk in addition to the queen. The loft has a futon that pulls out to a full. One of the full bathrooms has a jet tub/shower. The 'Great Room' has a sofa that pulls out to a full. Windows extending to the top of the cathedral ceiling offer spectacular views of the Wasatch Mountains. A full amenities kitchen, Directv, laundry room, boot/glove dryer, and gas log fireplace make staying here comfy and convenient. Check out our adjacent mirror image property, vrbo 491500.

About Scott Levine, Jim McPhail
Jim and I bought this property brand new in 2000. We grew up in the Boston, MA area and have been skiing our whole lives. Jim stumbled upon Powder Mt in the early nineties one day after being shut down at the Cottonwoods resorts due to avalanche road closures. He drove north that day to Powder Mountain and has never looked back. Shortly after, he introduced me to Powder Mt and we have been skiing and snowboarding here since.

The snow quality, abundance of powder, and lack of crowds along with a great vibe from locals, employees and vacationers are what attracted us to Powder Mt...and we have skied in the Sierra, Cascades, Rockies, Alps, and Andes from as far north as British Columbia...east to France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and south to Argentina.
What makes this Townhome unique
Location, location, location! When it comes to ski-in/ski-out location on Powder Mt, condo features, and the easiest drive-to access...it was a no-brainer for Jim and me to purchase this property. The views from the 'Great Room' and sundeck facing south sealed the deal!

Great, convenient condo. Awesome mountain.
Jim is very helpful and easy to reach if needed. The condo is ski in and out and really comfortable. Beautiful view of mountains out the living room window. Only complaint: to access the Timber Lodge and then ski down to the lift, you must climb a steep cement staircase outside the garage, and it was quite icy. But we would definitely stay there again.
Location, location, location
If making the pilgrimage to Powder Mountain this is, without a doubt, the very best place to stay. A short walk to the base area with ski shop, ticket window, pub, and information/service center in the yurt. The units are 20 years old, in excellent condition and expertly managed by the owners who are onsite and attentive... without being intrusive. Our group of 6 rented both units so that everyone had a private room and bath...perfect for an extended stay without much else to do but ski and relax. The downstairs laundry room with changing area, boot/glove dryer, toilet and outdoor access makes coming and going to the lifts a breeze. Don't expect Ritz Carlton Beaver Creek opulence, but do expect to have just about everything you need for enjoying days on the mountain.
Random tips: ATT is the only carrier that reaches the condo. WiFi works fine for texting and email. The Village Market, 10 - 15 minutes away is remarkably well stocked. and includes a pharmacy, and bank. A highlight of our visit was going to the "pop-up" dinner on Wednesday night. 7:30 seating was well attended with great food, service, and price...find it under the events tab on the PowMow website. Take a good book. Golf Channel works. Don't buy spices, foils, oils, filters,
paper goods - it's all there. Ski rental is pricey ...optional rental in Eden (10-15 minutes away).
Perfect place to stay when skiing at powder mountain with a family.
Jim and Scott were so helpful with our stay in their condo. They let us come in early and leave late !! We skied with 2 of our children and their spouses and our grandchildren. It was such a good location to take turns skiing and babysitting. We even had two meals catered in by peddlers and the food was delicious! Thank you for everything Jim and Scott.

The accessibility of the condo to lifts and shop, the way they have the accommodations set up, once you get settled in there is nothing to do but relax and enjoy your stay.
convenient and comfortable
We are a family of 5, with a baby. Having to take turns baby sitting made it convenient for us. The location of the condo is such that it takes about 10 minutes to get on and off the slopes. The place has all the comforts of a home.
Excellent place to stay
This is the 2nd year in a row that we have stayed in this unit.
Condo is ski in / ski out and conveniently located less than 75 yards from the ski shop and Powder Keg restaurant / bar.
Condo is stocked with everything you need for all cooking needs.
We would never consider staying anywhere else while skiing at Powder Mountain!
Another nice thing is the owners also live at these condos and are available if you need anything.
Snow basin resort, site of the 2002 Winter Olympic downhill events, is only a half hour drive from the condo. The quaint town of Eden is 7 miles below the condo and offers restaurants, a grocery store, gas station, banking, a ski shop, spa services, yoga and dance studio, etc. Ogden is the big city 20 miles away and has all the big box stores as well as plenty of restaurants and fast food. There are bars and nightlife on historic 25th street. The Ogden Hinckley airport is 25 miles from our condo.
