My husband and I both grew up in Colorado. We discovered Golden together, and fell in love with the town.
Brent Bailey purchased this apartment in 2007
Charm and character of this property was the main attraction to this 130 yr old home but, the location was the clincher.
This property also has a salon, and massage studio that do business here. A perfect opportunity to treat yourself to a spa!
Loved the balcony - so relaxing and the view is great. The living room was superb- and the bedroom, although small, had a comfortable bed, the bath was nice as well. I would definately stay here again!. The owner was a great help with local info. Very friendly!
My fiancé and I stayed here for the weekend, and loved it! The apartment is within walking distance of everything in Golden. It is a perfect size for two people and had everything we needed- coffee, couch, bed, TV, mini fridge, microwave, and closet space. We were out around Colorado for most of our stay, and basically came back to shower and sleep. we loved the balcony, and were very comfortable after our day trips around garden of the gods and castle rock. We are about to leave now, and I don't want to go! Thank you guys for a great stay! We will definitely come back!
Connie and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This property is not for everyone as it dose not have a kitchen. That's fine with us as we eat out when on holiday. The location is with in walking distance of downtown. There's a sushi place around the corner which was very good. We ate there twice. I wouldn't bother with the Thai/Asian restaurant. The setting was nice, but the food only fair. The Golden Hotel was very nice as well.
This upstairs suite was the perfect location for both business and pleasure. Easy walk to restaurants and shops in historic downtown Golden, with a short drive to Red Rocks. The rooms are nicely appointed with charming old world details. Front balcony is a great place to relax and watch the world go by.
I stayed here while attending professional development at School of Mines. Easy walking to campus (hills!), Safeway, and a good variety of coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. We also took the train into Denver for a Rockies game, enjoyed day trips to Boulder, and a concert at Red Rocks. Very comfortable for two, could accommodate more but would be more crowded. The owners are very responsive to requests ( more towels and a loaner umbrella!) and are easy to get in touch with.
There is an assortment of activities in the area including a beautiful river walk, mountaineering museum, and the famous Coors Tour.
