Perfect and peaceful

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we arrived it felt like home. The deer came to great us which was wonderful. We were able to hand feed them. The view from the back patio is amazing. The cabin was well equipped and had far more than we expected. It was spotlessly clean. The cabin is set back from the road and very private which was perfect. So many of the cabins in Ruidoso are close together this one stands alone and you can walk down to the river easily. I absolutely will return and recommend this cabin to anybody. The owners were easy to contact and extremely nice. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. It's a short easy drive into town but you feel like you are miles away from all the stress and worry of life. Perfect to relax, you'll never want to go home!!!

Comfortable

  • 4 of 5

We were two over 70 couples who wanted to attend the races. The setting was as promised but not as pastoral as photos infer. The neighborhood seemed congested but not offputting. The view from the deck was a high light and despite the rain we enjoyed view and being on the deck. The location is excellent and many choices for day trips

We went to Cloud Croft and recommend it. Wonderful book store there. The Corner Bakery for breakfast is highly recommended. The cabin is well equipped and comfortable and very quiet. Two couples and each had plenty of space. Probably the only negative is it shows some wear and we were a little disappointed with the overall cleanliness. However, we recommend it and would stay there again. Bill/Karen

Great place to enjoy time with our grandkids

Property is very accommodating, easy to get to and the view is worth a million. I will never stop enjoying drinking my morning coffee in the mountains, while listening to the Rio Ruidoso.

This cabin was the best choice, my mother loved it, kids were so happy with the stream passing right behind it, cabin had everything you can possibly need. To the owners, thank you for allowing us to experience this wonderful family time in your cabin. We will see you next year.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was great! At first I thought the cabin would have be too small looking at the pictures but it was a great size for my family! The back deck was a perfect view of the river! We got to seven deers and a moose in the front of the cabin! Thank you for letting up stay!

Comfy home with the most amazing riverview setting

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed here twice, enchanted with the deck overlooking the river and the noisy water aspect of this particular stretch. So easy to check in and out, no contact person required but available if needed. The cabin is comfortable, easily warmed and cooled if needed but we preferred the open windows and fresh air feel. Will go again.
