Winter Park Townhome Rental Photos and Description

Townhome, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 4.5 Baths, (Sleeps 8-12)

Our upscale townhome is located right in the heart of downtown Winter Park. Enjoy luxury accommodations while experiencing the ease of convenience. This former model townhome for Red Quill Village has twenty-four-hundred square feet spread over four levels, and has been beautifully decorated.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, five-piece bath with claw-foot tub, cable flat screen tv, and sitting area. The second and third bedrooms each have a queen and a king bed, cable flat screen tv's, and their own private full baths. The fourth bedroom off of the garden level family room, has queen bed and its own full bath.

The garden level family room has a pull-out queen sized Comfort Sleeper (no springs, no bars, no sagging). The beautiful kitchen has granite counter tops, a Viking gas range, and an eating nook with a second fireplace. Your own private hot tub, in-floor radiant heat, nine foot ceilings, hand troweled walls, and heated driveway and walkways, make this unit the best Red Quill has to offer.

Walk to restaurants, shops, and the Fraser River Trail. The free shuttle bus picks you up across the street, and within minutes you are at the base of the Winter Park Resort. Everything is provided for a great stay--all paper products, tea, hot chocolate, and coffee, and access to everything a cook needs to prepare a great meal--spices, oils, flour, sugar, etc...

About Paula Woodward

We are a family of 5. Mom grew up in Colorado and dad in Wyoming. We love the outdoors. Skiing and biking are favorite activities and what better place to do that than Grand County! We live just 2 hours away in Loveland, CO. We get to our town home has much as we can, which can be a challenge with 3 active kids!

Paula Woodward purchased this townhome in 2004

Why Paula Woodward chose Winter Park Area

After looking for several years we choose Red Quill Village for it's great location in the center of downtown Winter Park. We love the large unit with a huge kitchen for entertaining our friends after a day of skiing or biking. We walk to dinner, a movie, and the park nearby. We catch the ski shuttle across the street and are at the resort in minutes.

What makes this townhome unique

Our unit has great places to be together as a family, but enough space to spread out. The 2 living areas are great when the kids want to be loud. The private hot tub out back is used every night. The kitchen is on a floor by itself and is set up to cook and entertain a crowd.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Here's an e-mail I received on 1/6/05:

Paula, we had a wonderful time and your place was better than we had expected. I have never stayed at a more well stocked kitchen.

Thank You!

Spacious luxury in a sweet spot

  • 5 of 5

Great for a group as each bedroom has its own bath; hot tub and kitchen were top notch and you could walk to several nice restaurants and the trail system. A quick bike ride to the ski area. A really excellent experience and would definitely recommend as well as return for another stay in the area.

Wonderful home, very comfortable to live in!

  • 5 of 5

We had our two kids and their spouses, one grandson (1.5 yrs) and both of my parents there for a week. Nobody was crowded, each bedroom had a bath of its own. We found an unexpected box of toys in the closet for our grandson, and the younger adults seemed to enjoy the hot tub. The kitchen is huge and was great to cook in. No complaints at all.

The best piece of advice came from the owners who suggested buying lift tickets as early as possible. There were four price increases between Halloween and Christmas, but all of ours were purchased at the Halloween prices.

Great condo and location!

  • 5 of 5

We take an annual ski trip with another family - this year we decided to try Winter Park and stayed in Red Quill. We all voted this our favorite condo yet! Great layout for kids and adults. And the condo location itself was very close to restaurants and shops in Winter Park. Super easy drive to the resort from here.

Carolee was super communicative and we felt as if we were staying at a friend's place, not some random rental unit. Highly recommend!!

Favorite things: 2 gas fireplaces, huge kitchen, lower room for kids and the hot tub. :)

Family Reunion

  • 5 of 5

The best reunion ever because of our stay in this wonderful townhome. No one wanted to return home.

Everything from the kitchen and it's wonderful amenities to the sleeping accommodations, to the relaxing living space, and the enjoyable hot tub, our family thoroughly enjoyed this mountain retreat. We were close to hiking and biking trails; minutes to downtown for shopping and eating establishments; and even the grocery store was within 10 minutes. We definitely will return to Winter Park some day, and we'll make sure we stay here. No more hotels for this family!

Guestbook Comment

We just got back to Hawaii after staying at the townhome for the last 9 nights (1/6/09-1/15/09. The townhouse is FABULOUSLY equipped and has the best equipped kitchen I've ever seen! Wafflemaker, crockpot, pancake griddle, gas grill outside, blender, mixer, toaster, coffeepot - we were in HEAVEN!

Beds were soft and luxurious, high efficiency washer/dryer, heated floors -- wow! We did a stop at the Costco on the way up to pickup most of our supplies but could easily supplement what we had from the Safeway in Fraser two miles away. (Which is why we started baking a lot since we had the blender and mixer and enough bowls and pans to make some fabulous desserts).

We had 8 in our group - two couples and 4 single guys who were content to sprawl in the den downstairs and one of the rooms upstairs with more than enough bathrooms for everyone. We never ran out of towels -even when we all hit the great hottub outside. Paula thinks of everything - she even had house slippers to go outside and down the stairs for the hot tub that was very relaxing and deep.

We travel a lot and this was definitely the BEST townhouse we've ever stayed at. The only drawback we found was that it is a single car garage, but the 2nd car can park on the driveway.

Our funniest experience was the moose that walked past the townhome to sniff out some of the trash we had put outside the garage so we wouldn't forget to drop it off on the way out. (Don't leave the trash outside.) He nosed through some of it and then trotted off when he couldn't find anything of interest. We didn't leave anything outside again :)

The snow at WP was fabulous - we had fresh powder every single day from between 1" - 8" and enjoyed every moment of it.

Recommended eats around the area - walk to Randi's right across the parking lot, or the Rise and Shine bakery in the shopping area right next to the townhome, or drive one block past Safeway in Fraser and do a takeout from the authentic Thai food (called Timberline Thai). They don't serve sticky rice but the Drunken noodles or Panang curry comes with my highest recommendation.

Thanks Paula, for thinking of everything!
