The cottages are located along a quiet country lane and are situated within 10 acres of our own land and surrounded by open countryside with many great walks.
Although situated in a rural location Ashford and Canterbury are only 20 minutes away, Folkestone and Dover about 25 minutes.

Three days of peace and quiet. Well maintained comfortable cottage with all you need for a self catering break. Bedrooms are generous in size and tastefully decorated like the rest of the cottage. Kitchen is well equipped.
Lots to see and do in the area. We were lucky with the weather so it was great to come back, after a day out and have a quiet drink in the sunny courtyard outside the kitchen lounge area.
This is a lovely spot to stay with views across the downs. Dog friendly with mown paths in the field. The owners Ian and Amanda are super helpful and friendly. Our golden retriever enjoyed hanging out with their dog, Bella. Handy for the Channel Tunnel, Dover Castle, Canterbury, beaches etc. A very good choice for us.
A warm welcome awaits you at Grabtree Farm . On arrival, it very soon becomes clear that these cottages and grounds are immaculately maintained by two very hard working owners who work tirelessly each hour of the day to present the very best in holiday accommodation. The cottages are extremely well decorated and furnished with quality furniture. Patio doors from the living room take you out onto a small private paved area where you look out onto immaculately maintained gardens. From your doorstep there is around 12 acres of countryside to explore and a paddock for children to play safely. Alternatively, you can wander down quite country lanes and join the Kent Downs. Off road parking is available within yards of the property. Approx 4 miles from these cottages lies the charming village of Wye where there is a bakery, takeaway and a well stocked Coop Food store. The towns of Ashford and Canterbury are also within easy traveling distance. It is extremely hard to criticise these cottages as I feel they offer exceptional value for money, however my only dislike is the fact that you need to remember to have a supply of £1 coins for the meter, however I am sure there is always a supply available from the owners if needed. All in all, I would have no hesitation in recommending these pet friendly cottages for a family holiday in the garden of England.
My husband and I wanted to visit Kent and take our dog with us because he's part of our family and we don't like leaving him behind. We were all welcome at Crabtree Farm and North Stable Cottage was a lovely home from home where we felt relaxed. Ian and Amanda were attentive hosts and made sure our every need was catered for. We would definitely recommend a stay here
Cosy cottages set in beautiful kent countryside. Very tastefully decorated with all modern amenities. Perfect place for families with young children. Friendly hosts. This is very rural so a car is a must, mobile phone coverage is sporadic. Internet access was also up and down but the friendly owners were very helpful in sorting any problems out. I would highly recommend this property.
In June 2011 we spent a couple of days in Kent and stayed in Crabtreefarm, where we had rented The Granery (part of Crabtree Farm), a beautiful, new cottage, with all amenities that one could wish for (oven, microwave, washer, wireless internet, and so on). This cottage holds 4 adults very comfortable, with one bathroom downstairs, and one bathroom connected to the master bedroom. Kitchen was very well equipped. Owners were very helpful and friendly, when required, but also made sure that we did have a lot of privacy. Please note that cell phone reception at the cottage is really difficult (mostly no connection). Also note that if you drive up here using satnav then the best way to get here is from the main road Ashford/Canterbury to follow the signposts Wye and then on to Haistinleigh. We came via Ashford and Brook and the satnav took us for several miles through extremely small roads.
From the cottage we explored the city of Canterbury with its beautiful Cathedral (do add the additional audio guide – it is very much worth it). As it was raining quite a bit, we also decided to travel to London.
If we would come back to this area we would certainly consider staying here again.
Hastingleigh is situated in the heart of rural Kent. The Children and Pet Friendly cottages are in a stunning rustic location between the city of Canterbury and Ashford. There are numerous walks and bridle ways throughout the area with riding stables, trout fishing and a nine hole golf course only a short drive away. Ashford international station is only 5 miles away and offers trips to London and Paris. Dover port 30 minutes.
