River view located on the river shore.
What a great find! My group and I had a really awesome time at the cabin. I agree with reviewer Jeff W. - it really was like stepping back in time. Everything was clean (dishes, cups, linen, appliances) and my group and I felt very comfortable here. The view of the Columbia River is amazing. Dick was also very quick to respond to my messages and was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
Mr. Cameron's cabin is situated in a great location for fly anglers or salmon anglers who enjoy the columbia basin and plateau lakes and creeks. Very scenic view, convenience store a short walk away. Boat launches close. He treated us very fairly with respect to some minor damage we partially caused (by accident of course). We enjoyed the stay and would stay again.
Great! The owner was easy to work with and made everything a breeze.
We stayed at the cabin for the Watershed festival at the Gorge. The cabin is rustic and an authentic step back in time. Many of the furnishings are probably 30 to 40 years old but in great condition and clean. It was 90-100 degrees each day so we floated in the river each day before heading to the Gorge. The cabin was comfortable and very private and peaceful. thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The owner, Dick, was very helpful and accommodating.
This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. A nice comfy get away with a great view on the water. The host was helpful, answered all our questions. And we had a wonderful time. Thank you!!
This place... it's like going to stay at your grandparent's house. It's all original.. and AWESOME. It's riverfront, we brought a paddle board and floaties and had the best time.
There are an abundance of flies and moth like bugs, but that's just the area, nothing to do with the house.
We were there for a concert at the gorge and were sad we had to get out of the water and get going to thr Gorge. We can't wait to go back and stay longer.
We were told about a flea market in Mattawa, some good scores and probably the best tacos we've ever had.
Just a great weekend!
