This beautiful fully air conditioned four bedroom villa, newly built in early 2007, is situated in Rotonda West on the Cape Haze peninsula, an area of unspoiled natural beauty and tranquility. There are five championship golf courses on Rotonda alone, and the whole area is classified as a bird sanctuary, with frequent appearances of native birds such as osprey, herons, pelicans, bald eagles, kingfishers, red cardinals and even a friendly wood stork is known to pay our villa a visit!

This is our family vacation home and we and our extended family have been holidaying here for years.
Traveled here from the UK with my wife and 16 year old twins for a 2 week break.
We felt at home as soon as the door opened. This is a beautiful property in a quiet residential area, superbly maintained with all the home comforts you could want including netted pool, outdoor seating and dining, high speed wireless, cable, fully equipped kitchen and outdoor barbecue. The fixtures and fittings are of the highest standard:
There are 4 well proportioned and very comfortable bedrooms with enough space for 8 people to sleep plus 2 bathrooms.
The sumptuous leather couches in the open plan lounge area add to the relaxed feel of the property.
There are plenty of things to do and see within striking distance by car of the house including Mangrove tours, dolphin and manatee watching, sailing, fishing, shopping, restaurants, very beautiful beaches (Siesta Key, Fort Myers, Boca Grande and Stump Pass), museums (Ringling is fascinating as are the winter homes of Edison and Ford in Fort Myers). Mote aquarium in Sarasota is worth visiting and we spent quite some time in St Armands Circle which was built by the Ringling family in the shape of a circus ring. Venice is also a very pretty town and they had "Christmas in July" while we were there - not entirely convinced by Father Christmas in shorts and sunglasses but we joined in... Punta Gorda and the Fishermans' Village is a must as is a drink and food at the end of the pier at Harpoon Harry's. Finally, as a one-off, a visit and a meal at Sharky's on the Pier near Venice is a delight - if you can get there for a meal and stay for sunset it is a treat to behold.
Plenty of retail "therapy" is available as well at Bradenton (Outlet Stores), Port Charlotte, Fort Myers and Sarasota (to name just 4).
It is about 5 minutes from supermarkets (Publix and Walmart).
I knew it would be good - but it was beyond expectation - we will be back...
Large property that can accommodate a large family/2 families. Lovely quiet area. Pool was great and we swam every day. (Pool fence if you have small children). Broadband internet. 2 TVs/1 DVD player. Good kitchen. Air con. Property clean, well maintained and well managed. Good place to relax. No stress. Away from the main tourist area of Orlando, but plenty to do and see within drivable distances, including boat trips to Key West, retail outlets, Peace River (mangrove swamp), Edison's and Ford's winter estates, Tampa, Naples, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda.
We had a great vacation even if the weather was bad. We spent 3 1/2 wks in #438188, the home was beautiful and the home and property were well maintined. We felt like we were at home the minute we walked through the door. Everything we needed was there for us to use. The weather was on the cool side but with the heated pool we were still able to use it almost everyday. Also with our 16 month old granddaughter there, we felt comfort with the security fence we were able to put around the pool. The only problem was the time went by too fast. I would recommend this property to both family and friends, only not during the month of March as we would be happy to return again then ourselves. We have no complaints about this property, and would be happy to return again.
On arrival the property was bright, clean and welcoming with the pleasantly decorated and spacious villa awaiting us after the easy drive from Tampa International airport being under two hours drive away. The villa is set in a conservation area where wild life is abundent with many species of birds evident, as described in the property literature the villa is located on one of the areas many freshwater canals which are home to many fish and other aquatic life including freshwater turtles, aligators, herons and birds of prey including fish eagles and osprey amongst others who made regular visits during our stay.
The villa is spacious with modern fixtures and fittings (all well maintained) which make it a truly enjoyable place to make as your perfect holiday destination, the master bedroom is tastefully decorated with plenty of storage space and boasts a large twin washbasin and walk-in shower room and generous bath for those who like to endulge. This room also has access via sliding patio doors onto the lani and pool / sun terrace. The second bedroom also boasts a well decorated spacious room again with an oversized Queen divan type bed with twin wardrobes giving adequate storage space along with a large chest of draws and two bedside tables with lamps, it also has patio doors leading out onto the pool area and overlooks the canal. The third bedroom which is also neutral in its decoration offers two large single beds again with adequate storage space and is next to the shared bathroom. The kitchen is well equiped with all modern electrical appliances, kitchen ware and information relating to places to visit, local restaurants and local amenities and places to visit.
The villa is situated within ten minutes drive of several golf courses which provide a variety of challenges for all levels of player, there are as described many of Florida's best beaches within easy reach, were you will find safe bathing for all ages.
The shops are amazing - many hours can be spent in the local malls, and outlets, and many bargains can be found - just make sure you have plenty of room in your case!!
The owners were very helpful in answering any questions and responding to emails.
My family and I would have no reservations in recommending this property to family or friends and will be happy to stay again in the near future in what was a most enjoyable holiday in a beautiful relaxing environment.
Don't take our experience as read get out their and try it!!!!
We had a wonderful time there in August 2012. The house was beautifully presented, had all the facilities you could need and the swimming pool was brilliant for the family to use. The area is very quiet but you are never too far from places to go and see so you get the best of both worlds. I would thoroughly recommend the house to anyone. It is rare that your holiday expectations are surpassed but ours certainly were.
