About Jim Holiday
Jim and Kathy Holiday live in Sacramento, CA with their beautiful 12 year old daughter, Veronica, and their dog, Marvin.
Jim Holiday purchased this House in 2008
Why Jim Holiday chose Bunker Tract
Before we owned the cabin we used to stay at the property and we loved it. Through the years we built great memories and felt like it was our ‘home away from home’. When the time came that the property was changing ownership we knew we wanted to be part of it. We are now 50% owners of the cabin with my cousin and his family. Every year we put money and effort into improving the cabin so that others can enjoy it as much as we do. The Tahoe City location is truly the best the lake has to offer in the summer and winter. It is the most charming City the lake has to offer.
What makes this House unique
The cabin is very cozy and comfortable. The way it's situated gives a very secluded and private feel. Large pine trees surround the property and provide additional privacy, and beauty. The 4 person spa on the back deck is particularly enjoyable after a great day of skiing.

Great family time
Perfect accomodations and location for a large group for a casual stay.
We had a wonderful time! The layout, number of beds and location for our annual ski trip. There was a problem with one of the showers that was immediately remedied by Jim Holiday despite the fact of a holiday weekend. Every one who stayed in the cabin had nothing but praise for the accommodations and the convenience and location. (less than 15 minutes to Alpine and Squaw). I highly recommend this home for your reunion at Lake Tahoe!
Loved being so close to Boatworks, beach, and breakfast places. Cabin had all that we needed w/ great flexibility for sleeping arrangements, and pet friendly as we got the whole family together for a great holiday weekend!
Beautiful home - cozy, comfortable, relaxing!
Beautiful home in the heart of Tahoe City! Comfortably slept the whole group. Beautiful area. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
Perfect family spot
This place was the perfect home for our family vacation. We had 12 adults and 2 children. The bathrooms were amazing, especially the one upstairs. The rooms upstairs were spacious and very roomy. Everything was provided from linens, to towels, to cooking ware. There was just little stuff we would change. 1. Cooking took awhile bc the electric oven would turn on and off (unless that's how it's supposed to be, but I wouldn't know since we normally use gas). 2. Thermometer screen would sometimes go blank so we can't change the AC/heat settings. 3. Every couch pillows had dog hair on it :(
Everything was perfect
Very nice home. It was perfect for out needs. The hot tub was a nice bonus. Walk to town! We loved it and will very likely be there again.
Bunker Lodge (as we call it) is nestled comfortably aside the mountain adjacent to Tahoe City. It's a very short walk into the city where you'll find many great restaurants, specialty shops, a movie theater, bars and more.
