137 The Greens - This two-story villa overlooks the greens of Shipyard's Galleon Golf Course. It is perfect for families, tennis players, golfers, or anyone just looking to relax. Located within the private, gated Shipyard Plantation, this spacious end-unit, private entry villa is completely furnished (new living room furniture!!) and a quick walk or bike ride to the beautiful Shipyard beach. The world-renowned Van Der Meer tennis center and Shipyard Racquet Club are directly across from The Greens. Coligny Plaza, with its many shops, is mere minutes away from the Pope Avenue exit. Parking and the community pool are just steps from the front door.
The first floor of our non-smoking villa includes a fully equipped kitchen with cherry cabinets, granite counter tops, gourmet Fisher - Paykel and Whirlpool Gold stainless steel appliances. It also has a breakfast nook overlooking the private courtyard, dining room with seating for six, half-bath with new Kohler fixtures and granite, and a large comfortable family room - with new furniture - with access to the wrap-around deck. A 42' flat screen high def TV provide high-quality family entertainment.

Upstairs is the large master bedroom with king-size bed, 32' Magnavox LED HDTV, ceiling fan, walk-in closet and newly renovated (12/2014) en suite full bath. At the opposite end of the hall is the second full bath and guest room with two twin beds, flat screen high def TV, ceiling fan and closet. The laundry room with full-size washer and dryer is also located on this floor.
The convenient outside shed is stocked with some beach chairs, a beach cart, and assorted beach toys.
A gas grill is available to cook hotdogs, burgers, steaks, fish....A perfect end to a perfect beach day!
We have a relationship with a local bike rental company to provide discounted rentals to our guests.
This villa has keyless entry and is privately managed by a local company. There is no need to stop at a rental agency office to pick up/drop off keys, gate passes, etc. You go directly to the villa and begin your vacation immediately!

When we decided to buy a small slice of heaven, we knew we wanted it to be in Shipyard Plantation. Shipyard is centrally located on the island and is convenient to shopping, restaurants, gorgeous beaches, and miles of biking/walking trails.
may,2013...we are already hoping to return ,only two weeks since leaving beautiful HHI..we have been renting at the Greens for around 20 years as often as we can , and 137 is the best yet! the recent remodeling is just beautiful...there's no key to lose ...there are two porches!...such peaceful,restful views from every room, all the way to the ocean...sooo clean!....low clutter..extremely thoughtful welcoming... from leaving the dashboard tag at the security gate,stocking with sugar,oil,vinegar and many condiments,including coffee filters,dishwashing supplies,dryer sheets to allowing free phone usage and WIFI...the owners were so friendly, yet so professional...i can't imagine how they could make it better!...so quiet and serene....did I mention I loved every minute?
My husband and I just returned from beautiful Hilton Head Island earlier this week. We have stayed at the Shipyard many times in the past but this condo was by far our best experience to date! The walk to the pool and beach were short and pleasant, the condo was more than enough room for just us two and would have easily accommodated at least two others. It was sparkling clean upon our arrival and had all the amenities we needed to make it feel like home. My only regret is not staying longer! Thanks for a wonderful time, we will definitely be back soon!
My husband , two teenage boys and I stayed at this condo for two weeks in early July 2016. We have stayed at Shipyard before so were familiar with the area. This condo in The Greens section of Shipyard was so convenient to the beach (<10 min walk) , pool (< 2 min walk) and tennis courts (< 5 min walk) which was key for us. The condo also comes with a beach parking pass which allows you to part closer to the beach area - very convenient. The condo was immaculately kept and well stocked. There is lots of storage in the condo and we very much appreciate the BBQ to help with great dinners on vacation. Thank you Wanda for ease of rental and for having a great condo!! We would definitely rent this condo again!
We just ended our week long stay at 137 The Greens. The condo was very well stocked and clean! Loved the space off the kitchen with shelves, baskets and hooks for shoes, beach things,etc. The convenience to the beach and pool was great too. A wonderful getaway for our family of four making priceless memories on HHI!!
The unit was exceptional. The walk to the beach is only about a mile and a nice walk. The provided beach chairs and carrier were nice to have. We took our own bikes and loved riding the bike trails. The only negative we had was that the TVs in the bedrooms did not get all the stations that the living area TV did. The choice of stations was very limited on those TVs. If we came back with children, it would be nice to have the children's programs provided on their bedroom TV so the adults could watch the living room TV. Of course, we only need this option if it is raining!
Having owned a condo on Hilton Head Island, we know what it takes to make for happy vacation renters. Wanda sets the standard so high, I don't know if any other owner on the island can even come close to the job Wanda does. Her attention to detail and perfection is second to none. Her follow thru and communication is outstanding. The unit itself is impeccably maintained with a wonderfully updated kitchen and master bath. Great location, and the beach parking lot pass is a very nice convenience if you prefer not wanting to walk to the beach. A truly 5 star rental experience in every respect.
Everything about this Villa was excellent. It was so clean, updated and well-maintained. Attention to detail in every way. Great Internet connection. Not slow at all. Easy walk to beach even with 3 young children (3,7 and 8). Great pool right across from Villa. If we aren't already living in SC by next year we will definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends and family! 5 Stars all the way! : ) Awesome Family Vacation!!!
