In looking at our calendar for the coming months, we have noticed that many of the summer weekends have been reserved. We do have time midweek for reservations.

So, for any month in 2017, you can stay at the Amish Guest Farmhouse for 4 nights for only $1998! That's a savings of $382! Check out our calendar to see if there is a time for you!

Located at 386 Route 14, Penn Yan, New York, 14527, on the west side of Seneca Lake, the deepest of the Finger Lakes in upstate New York.

Conveniently located about 12 minutes from both Geneva & Penn Yan on the Seneca Lake wine trail.

In 2012, the property was purchased by a local horse-and-buggy Mennonite family. The Weaver family and their seven children are working each day to turn this farm and home into a nostalgic haven of rest for the world-weary travelers and for those who long for a more simple life.

While there is WiFi connection in the home, the Weaver family encourages visitors to hike, bike, and enjoy nature. There are herds of deer, friendly small animals, as well as many kinds of birds, and maybe a rare glimpse of a coyote.

With prior permission, visitors may enjoy most of the privacy of the farm's 85 acres, including a creek and gorge.

The farm boasts a spacious front yard that borders Route 14, and the only remaining working railroad in the region. Trains pass slowly once a day, creating a nostalgic twist to days gone by.

Enjoy a show of the morning sunrise or an afternoon picnic, complete with gorgeous lake views, from the spacious side porch.

This home offers a spacious 3,500 square feet, and can easily accommodate approximately 20 people. Enjoy gathering with friends and family in the beautiful wood-finished great room around the cozy fireplace.

The updated kitchen offers enough space to cook a feast, a new six-burner cooktop, double wall oven, stainless steel dishwasher, garbage disposal, large walk-in pantry, microwave, granite countertops and a large stainless steel fridge & freezer.

The Weaver family has been involved in greeting visitors for the past 18 years with the handmade quilts they've designed and sold all over the world. The family currently runs a small quilting studio out of the barn located on the property that features their charming homemade Amish quilts, homemade jams & jellies and homegrown vegetables when they're in season. To ensure the comfort and privacy of our guests, vacation rental parking is separate from the rest of the farm.

The home is decorated with local hand-stitched quilts, giving it a cozy old-fashioned feel.

Give us a call to book your dream vacation in the beautiful Finger Lakes!

This farm house is also available and perfect for weddings, reunions, church group retreats, quilting & sewing retreats, picnics and so much more!

A great place for a large family!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay at Weaver-View Farm in August (2015) Nineteen of us (10 adults and 9 children) gathered from all parts of the country for a wedding in Geneva. The farm was a very family-friendly place to spend time together with extended family. We did some sight-seeing in the beautiful surrounding area, and enjoyed long walks and bike rides near the farm. The Amish Country store was a delight and the Weavers were so hospitable.

Much needed break materialized!

  • 5 of 5

This was an AMAZING place to stay! It was perfect for our family's needs. We met some extended family from a different state there, so all of us could fit under one roof. The house is GORGEOUS! The website doesn't quite do it justice. The Mennonite family who owns and operates the house are very kind and welcoming, as well as accommadating...anything we needed or asked about, they were right there to take care of it. They run a family country store on the property, and this was very charming, full of wonderful foodstuffs, like breads, jams, syrup, etc. and also some home decor and quilting material. The upstairs of the store (an old barn, actually) had handmade furniture in it for sale. We have some younger girls in the family, and they enjoyed hanging out at the store and helping, as well as petting the horse that brings the owners into work for the day from their family dairy farm nearby. There is a gorge and hiking near the house, so that was fun for the adventurous. The view of the lake was beautiful and there were plenty of activities to do (sunny or rainy days). We enjoyed a visit to Watkins Glen gorge, seeing 19 waterfalls on an amazing hike. We settled right into the house and its beautiful kitchen accommodated us well. It was VERY hard to leave this place. Such a peaceful setting and plenty of room for people to gather or even get away for some quiet at times (I took advantage of this when the loving chaos of 10-15 children got to be too much!). I truly wish we could have stayed longer....hope to return again someday! Thank you to the Weaver family for providing such a lovely "home away from home".

Family reunion

  • 4 of 5

The Weaver View Farmhouse was perfect for our large family get together. It comfortably accommodated our group of 13 people ranging in age from 10 months to 86 years. The large kitchen/family rooms on the first floor and the side porch allowed us to hang out together and catch up. It overlooks beautiful Seneca Lake and is a short 10-15 minute drive to Geneva and HWS Colleges.

Reunion weekend

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay. It's a classic lakeside house and was large enough to comfortably fit 12 adults and many young kids. The kitchen area is perfect for large party cooking. The views can't be beat. The owner is extremely helpful and nice. Thanks for a great stay.

wonderful rental

  • 5 of 5

We have a large family and this place was great. It was big enough for everyone who came (some from new england and some from Ohio). The side porch was great for conversation and games. The little children enjoyed themselves despite no tv which we already knew there wouldn't be one. The shop was great ( lots of homemade goodies) and the family very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has a larger family 12+ people.
