About the property

5 bedroom, 4.5 bath Full Log Home with Stunning Mountain Views

Tucked away between the aspens and pines in Colorado's breathtaking Blue River Valley sits a beautiful mountain home. Triple C Lodge has been a dream of ours for years, and we are so excited to share our mountain get-away with you. Our goal is to provide luxurious accommodations at an affordable price so you'll want to come back year after year.

Newly built and furnished in 2006, Triple C lodge is a 4800 square foot luxurious log home with everything you need for a mountain vacation. With four bedrooms + loft + bunk room, the home sleeps 15+. With three spacious levels, there is plenty of space for multiple families. Only six miles to Breckenridge and the ski slopes, our home offers guests luxury accommodations in a peaceful setting, for much less a night than in town.

When you first walk in your eyes are drawn to the wall of windows in the great room to the expansive views of Quandary Peak, one of Colorado's majestic 14,000 foot mountains. Relax by the gas burning fire in the great room under soaring ceilings and comfortable furnishings, or walk out onto the expansive wrap-around deck to enjoy the crisp air and beautiful views of the mountains.

Adjacent to the great room is the dining room that seats 8, plus four additional bar stools at the kitchen counter. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and everything you'll need to prepare your own meals.

The Master bedroom is off the great room with a King size bed, walk-in closet, and spa-like bathroom. French doors take you from the Master onto the deck where there is brand new patio furniture to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or evening cocktail

Downstairs on the lower level of the home is a walk-out basement where the 8X8 hot tub sits. A huge game room with a large flat screen tv, leather couches, pool table and wet bar make this space a great place for entertaining or just relaxing and watching tv. A second Master bedroom is on the lower level with en-suite bathroom. There is also a bunk room with twin over full bunk beds that is great for kids or singles. The laundry room with full size washer and dryer, and entrance from the two car garage round out the lower level.

On the top level is a large loft overlooking the great room. Here you'll find a full size bed with trundle and a sitting area. On either side of the loft are two additional bedrooms, each with King beds plus Twin Daybed and en-suite bathrooms.

Additional features of the home include gas grill, surround sound, wireless Internet, cable tv, and radiant heated floors throughout the home.

There are Six World Class ski areas all within a one hour drive from our home: Breckenridge (the closest), Keystone, Copper Mountain, Vail, Beaver Creek and A-Basin.

Five outstanding Golf Courses are in the area with two of our favorites closeby: Breckenridge Golf Club, and the Raven at Three Peaks in Silverthorne.

Some of the best hiking is just steps from our home. The Trailhead for Quandary Mountain, Mohawk Lakes Trail, and McCullough Gulch are all less than five minutes away.

Breckenridge has so many things to do and so much to offer year round. All seasons offer shopping, town events, and gorgeous mountain views.

About Jill Cox

My husband and I live in Dallas, TX with our three kids, Chanley, Cameron and Christopher. Triple C Lodge was named after our children. I grew up skiing and coming to Colorado in the winter. When a family wedding brought us here in the summer of 2006, we realized it was even more beautiful here in the Summer. So we started coming to Colorado each summer when our kids were young to escape the Texas heat and spend time enjoying the beautiful mountains and all they have to offer.

Jill Cox purchased this house in 2012

Why Jill Cox chose Breckenridge

We have vacationed in Breckenridge for several years both in the winter and summer. We found this jewel of a mountain home and knew when we first walked in it had the space, views, location and everything we were looking for. We are excited to get to spend time in the summer and a couple weeks in the winter with our family making lasting memories here. And we hope many other families will be able to enjoy its beauty as well.

What makes this house unique

I have yet to find a vacation home this spacious and spread out that can accomodate multiple families for an affordable price. The open layout on three levels adds to the functional use that several families can enjoy.

Beautiful home in a beautiful area!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time staying at the Triple C lodge! We were a group of 17 and had plenty of room in the home. We will definitely look to stay here again for future trips to Breck. The only suggestion I would have for the home, are to increase the amount of towels available. We were able to cook for the large group with everything provided! We did bring plastic/paper plates/utensils.

Very nice home

Lovely space for our family. Very much enjoyed our visit. Could use some more linens and more flatware. Cleaning up was a bit difficult since the vacuum cleaner did not work.

Beautiful mountain retreat

  • 4 of 5

Overall, we had a great stay. The house is large and has 5.5 baths. Beautiful views, quiet and relatively secluded. Excellent jacuzzi. Comfortable "lodge" interior.

It is at a very high elevation (10,000+) and we had a little trouble adjusting. All of us were 55-62 years old so maybe that explains that.

It is about a 10-12 minute drive into Breckinridge.

There were a few minor items in disrepair and the house was a bit dusty when we arrived.

I would recommend this house for a quiet stay away from the crowds.

Beautiful home and great location!

  • 4 of 5

Our family of 15 (12 adults and 3 children) rented this beautiful home for a family vacation. The home was a perfect size for us and gave us all room to get away if needed or spend time together in the family room or the large dining room and kitchen. It has a beautiful view and close to so many things to do (hiking, fishing, shops in Breckinridge).

We do think there should be some updates in the kitchen (pots and pans, griddle, large frying pans). Also, the outdoor grill did not work and more towels and washcloths would be a plus!

We would definitely stay again! Loved the outdoor deck and spacious rooms! Was a perfect size to fit our large family!

Lots of room for our party of 10. Beds were comfy and easily accommodated extra kids. Even enjoyed the hot tub! Only wish there were some window coverings so we could sleep in!
