About the property

5 bedroom, 4.5 bath Full Log Home with Stunning Mountain Views

Tucked away between the aspens and pines in Colorado's breathtaking Blue River Valley sits a beautiful mountain home. Triple C Lodge has been a dream of ours for years, and we are so excited to share our mountain get-away with you. Our goal is to provide luxurious accommodations at an affordable price so you'll want to come back year after year.

Newly built and furnished in 2006, Triple C lodge is a 4800 square foot luxurious log home with everything you need for a mountain vacation. With four bedrooms + loft + bunk room, the home sleeps 15+. With three spacious levels, there is plenty of space for multiple families. Only six miles to Breckenridge and the ski slopes, our home offers guests luxury accommodations in a peaceful setting, for much less a night than in town.

When you first walk in your eyes are drawn to the wall of windows in the great room to the expansive views of Quandary Peak, one of Colorado's majestic 14,000 foot mountains. Relax by the gas burning fire in the great room under soaring ceilings and comfortable furnishings, or walk out onto the expansive wrap-around deck to enjoy the crisp air and beautiful views of the mountains.

Adjacent to the great room is the dining room that seats 8, plus four additional bar stools at the kitchen counter. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and everything you'll need to prepare your own meals.

The Master bedroom is off the great room with a King size bed, walk-in closet, and spa-like bathroom. French doors take you from the Master onto the deck where there is brand new patio furniture to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or evening cocktail

Downstairs on the lower level of the home is a walk-out basement where the 8X8 hot tub sits. A huge game room with a large flat screen tv, leather couches, pool table and wet bar make this space a great place for entertaining or just relaxing and watching tv. A second Master bedroom is on the lower level with en-suite bathroom. There is also a bunk room with twin over full bunk beds that is great for kids or singles. The laundry room with full size washer and dryer, and entrance from the two car garage round out the lower level.

On the top level is a large loft overlooking the great room. Here you'll find a full size bed with trundle and a sitting area. On either side of the loft are two additional bedrooms, each with King beds plus Twin Daybed and en-suite bathrooms.

Additional features of the home include gas grill, surround sound, wireless Internet, cable tv, and radiant heated floors throughout the home.

There are Six World Class ski areas all within a one hour drive from our home: Breckenridge (the closest), Keystone, Copper Mountain, Vail, Beaver Creek and A-Basin.

Five outstanding Golf Courses are in the area with two of our favorites closeby: Breckenridge Golf Club, and the Raven at Three Peaks in Silverthorne.

Some of the best hiking is just steps from our home. The Trailhead for Quandary Mountain, Mohawk Lakes Trail, and McCullough Gulch are all less than five minutes away.

Breckenridge has so many things to do and so much to offer year round. All seasons offer shopping, town events, and gorgeous mountain views.

About Jill Cox

My husband and I live in Dallas, TX with our three kids, Chanley, Cameron and Christopher. Triple C Lodge was named after our children. I grew up skiing and coming to Colorado in the winter. When a family wedding brought us here in the summer of 2006, we realized it was even more beautiful here in the Summer. So we started coming to Colorado each summer when our kids were young to escape the Texas heat and spend time enjoying the beautiful mountains and all they have to offer.

Jill Cox purchased this house in 2012

Why Jill Cox chose Breckenridge Area

We have vacationed in Breckenridge for several years both in the winter and summer. We found this jewel of a mountain home and knew when we first walked in it had the space, views, location and everything we were looking for. We are excited to get to spend time in the summer and a couple weeks in the winter with our family making lasting memories here. And we hope many other families will be able to enjoy its beauty as well.

What makes this house unique

I have yet to find a vacation home this spacious and spread out that can accomodate multiple families for an affordable price. The open layout on three levels adds to the functional use that several families can enjoy.

Triple C is amazing!

  • 5 of 5

Triple C was perfect for our party of 10! Plenty of room for meeting, sleeping, dining and relaxing. Could easily accommodate many more. The views are amazing and it's just a short drive from skiing and the conveniences of town. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. But when you are at the house all of that feels like a million miles away. Jacuzzi, satellite tv, pool table and many other amenities make for the perfect get away. As advised, you will need a 4x4 in the winter time. Thank you Jill!

Out west was just beautiful. The Triple C Lodge was the perfect home for our family, nestled amongst the pines surrounded by beautiful snow. From the main living area the view was awesome, majestic mountain pecks, the snowed filled forest, the kids played for hours they loved it . We all loved it.We were a large family (14) the C had adequate space. We cooked alot kitchen well equiped, nice neighborhood lots of moose. We are not skiers, we enjoyed a horse sleigh ride, snowmobiling, ice skating/hockey and dog sledding. It was all so good.To get to these activities HWY 9 is heavily congested allow time for travel.A four-wheel drive is a must for a winter Colorado vacation.I highly recommend The Triple C Lodge, you can not go wrong the lodge is really nice and the owner was always available for information. Great Vacation .

The cabin was amazing and did satisfy all our needs.

  • 5 of 5

We were looking at this cabin for a couple of years and managed to stay in it for our past trip. We were a group of 13 people including a few kids. Even though it was a little "far", no one minded the daily breath-taking drive to the slopes. The owner was great in answering all of our questions and or concern when the power was out for several hours. In fact, we had the best time without electricity since everyone sat in the family room and played heads up for 2 hours.

The kitchen was a dream to cook in and has everything you need. There are more than enough plates of different sizes, however, an additional set of silverware won't hurt.

A 4x4 car is highly advised for during the winter. One of the other adults is now planning a trip in 2018 and will be looking into the possibility to stay here again.

Family Gathering

  • 4 of 5

Stayed at the lodge\house with family. Great size as we all had plenty of room. Upstairs bathrooms are very small with not counter space. Hard for 5 family members to share. Only had one wash cloth per bathroom. Kitchen is a nice size but needs to be stocked with some new cookware. We couldn't use some of it. Microwave worked but didn't have the rotating tray. Dishes needed to be cleaned. The house is in a beautiful location but if you get snow or have snow you need 4 wheel drive or forget about getting your car out. Great house for a large group. Skiing was great.

Amazing weekend away!

  • 5 of 5

Can't say enough about amazing this house is! It's huge, we had plenty of extra beds- house could have easily slept fifteen if you want. The huge windows in the family room offer beautiful views of the mountains. The beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need to cook including a crockpot blender etc.- only thing was there could have been more silverware. Check in and check out is super easy because the house is just a key code so that was awesome do to our very late arrival! Only thing is there are no curtains on most of the bedroom windows so it is difficult to sleep in in the morning but it wasn't a big issue for us. Hottub is really big and easy to use. Can't say enough about this house- would definitely go back!

30th Birthday Weekend

  • 5 of 5

I surprised my husband with a weekend away in Breckenridge with 10 of his closest friends. The home was perfect! We could had 12 adults and all had enough room. We could have easily had a few others join. The house had everything we needed. We will be back again, hopefully this summer with the kids. I would recommend this house to any group of friends or family needing some time away.
