Above and Beyond Expectations!

  • 5 of 5

We were more than impressed with this rental, Board Meeting. Rick met us at the house and familiarized us with everything, plus left fresh fruit and local coffee for us. The house was spotless and very comfortable. The furnishings were perfect - pleasing to the eye, yet comfortable to use. Plenty of pots and pans were on hand. Dishes were plentiful. We had plenty of space for our three families. The pool was immaculate. Our youngest granddaughter learned to swim while staying here. The walk to the beach was an easy walk. I would encourage anyone looking for a Nags Head vacation to rent this house. My husband and I own a vacation rental in NC , and we appreciate quality. Thank you for providing such a great vacation rental!

Pristine with everything you need

  • 5 of 5

I was extremely happy with my stay at Board Meeting (May 2017). I went with my husband, 3 year old daughter, and in-laws. The house was pristine with no dust or dirt.....it is very well maintained and cared for. The house was a perfect set up for my little one and also the in-laws could have their own space on a completely different floor. Everything you needed was provided: from kitchen items, towels, to beach toys. The beach cart was great to walk over with everything (including my daughter in it). The pool was nice to swim in, with floats available too (a little cold....but we still made it in everyday)! The house was located perfectly off of the main strip where you could walk to a grocery store or the local ice cream place, but you were far enough away that you were not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the town. The beach was great, but the surf definitely changed from day to day. I would recommend this house to others and would love to come back and stay again!

The beach house that felt like home

  • 5 of 5

Board Meeting surpassed all of our expectations. Rick met us at the property and took the time to show us around and point out all of the extras. We immediately felt comfortable like it was our home at the beach. The home was well appointed and had everything we needed. We were traveling with two small children so the high chair, portable crib, baby gate, beach buggy and sand toys really came in handy. Cooking was easy with all of the conveniences from home. Steps to the beach and the views were wonderful. We just loved sitting on the balcony listening to the ocean. We were so excited to be able to use the pool in September. We enjoyed many hours by the pool - with a sound system, refrigerator, grill, half bath and and outdoor shower just a few steps away you really didn't need to leave that level. We are very happy that we were able to rent board meeting and would rent again without hesitation!

Perfect Beach Rental

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time renting a place through VRBO and were very excited for our vacation after reading the reviews of past guests who stayed at "Board Meeting." The property met and exceeded all of our expectations during our stay. Richard met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the house, explained in detail things we would need to know about the house, and Nags Head. He also had a fruit bowl and some amazing coffee waiting for us.

Board Meeting is a beautiful house for a vacation rental and the layout is well designed. The house is very clean and everything was in perfect condition. Linens were provided by the owner and were top quality as well. The house is well equipped for cooking, entertaining little ones, and providing a relaxing environment for the adults. We had 5 children with us and each of them were perfectly content if we never left the house. They all spent hours in the pool even though the beach was just a few minutes away.

Board Meeting is perfectly located for vacationers. The beach was a very easy walk and made even easier with the wagon they provide to guests at the house. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys were all available to use. Every morning I would walk along the beach having my cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. It was close enough we could all go back to the house for lunch to avoid sandy food. Right next door was our favorite ice cream place, a perfect spot for after dinner. There was also a Food Lion for groceries and wine about 5 minute walk. Plenty of restaurants and shopping as well in close proximity.

The owners live close by and were attentive, but never intrusive. If there was an issue I am certain they would have responded quickly, but thank goodness everything went smooth during our time in Nags Head. Overall we had the perfect vacation during our time at "Board Meeting." I think my family would have been more than thrilled to move in permanently! We hope to visit "Board Meeting" again next summer. Thank you to the Kittrells for your amazing hospitality.

Excellent

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was beautifully furnished and very clean. Everything we could possibly want was provided. The grounds were lovely and the pool area was spectacular. It was so nice to be greeted by Richard (the owner) and given a tour of the property. We never thought much about elevators but soon discovered we love them! It was conveniently located to restaurants, stores and beach access. We can't wait to stay there again. Keith & Linda Frazier Norfolk, VA
