Royal Kuhio 3403. This is a spacious (118.36 square meters) 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with 2 large lanais on the 34th floor, all with great ocean and mountain views located at the Royal Kuhio. The spacious living room area features a queen size convertible sofa and entertainment center. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, while the second bedroom has 2 twin beds. Wifi internet.

At the seventh-floor recreation deck, you can go for a swim in the pool, relax in the sauna, shoot hoops on the sports court, practice your golf game on the putting green, or enjoy a game of shuffleboard. You can also grill your own catch of the day in the barbeque area, work out in the fitness center, or spend time with the family in the game room, which features billiards and ping-pong. Pacnplay and highchair provided.

Good location but worn down

Pros: great location in Waikiki, owner is very responsive to messages, fairly clean, good security and parking, beautiful view, good drapes to block out sunlight in the morning

Cons: This condo needs a SERIOUS make over. We brought our parents to Waikiki after spending a week in Maui. There was no comparison between our condo in Maui andthis one in Waikiki. This is the 3rd time my husband I have stayed in a condo in Waikiki and this is by far the most dated and the one we liked the least. It was fairly clean (other than along the edge of the carpet which was quite dirty). The carpet is severely worn out to the say the very least and extremely stained. The walls are marked up and in dire need of a good coat of paint. The living room furniture is not the same as the posted pictures and is minimally comfortable. The bed in the master bedroom is NOT comfortable - nor is the pull out because my husband and I tried to sleep on both. The toilet in the main bathroom was running non stop when we arrived. The owner was very responsive to our message and had it fixed immediately which we appreciated. The kitchen is pretty old and could possibly be the original kitchen from when the building was built. The air conditioning was either way too hot or way too cold - we couldn't get a stable, comfortable temperature.

Great unit awesome views

stayed at Royal Kuhio 3403 sept 2017, large apartment with awesome views, was clean , could walk to everything or bus stop out the front so is a great location.Unit was dated but everything worked. Internet good. The only negative was the stained carpet but didn't let it spoil the vacation . would definatley stay there again . easy check in thanks gavin for your help with our vacation

Relaxing and enjoyable even with the 6 hour time difference.

The Royal Kuhio was located a close walk from restaurants, stores, and the beach. Easy to get into and out with my rent a car. I would rent from Alohana Realty again. A hui hou kakou.

We enjoyed the condo and would stay here again

We had a great time in Waikiki and enjoyed our stay in this unit. The location was great! We could walk everywhere - the beach, restaurants, grocery store, shopping, the zoo... We even took a bus that stops right outside the building when we went to the swap meet. The pool area on the 7th floor was great! Lots of activities to do there and the pool was fun with lots of chairs to relax in. The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit was perfect for our family with lots of room. It's a dated unit and well worn but it was clean and worked well for us. The view was unbelievable and it was nice to sit on the balcony and enjoy it - during the day and at night when it was all lit up with the city lights. It was also great to have a parking stall in the building as we did rent a car for 3 days. We really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Our happy place

We came to Hawaii to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary with our best friends who got married a few weeks before us. We stayed in this two beddie apartment for nine nights and wish we could've stayed longer. The location on Kuhio is absolutely perfect (just across the road from Ross and Nordstrom Rack ... goodbye budget!). We had a rental car the whole time and the carpark included was one of the key reasons we chose to book this property. The apartment itself has the most amazing view and it was easy to lose track of time on the lanai just staring at the outlook. The size of the apartment is very generous and the two full bathrooms was ideal with two couples. The full sized kitchen was used only for breakfast and keeping our drinks cold in preparation for "happy hour" every evening before heading out to a local restaurant. OK, yes, the apartment is tired and could do with a bit of maintenance but it was very clean and everything worked. It would benefit from a replacement of the very marked carpet and could do with a repaint but for what you pay, which is reasonable, you can't complain. The whole building is pretty dated and tired but while we were there the hall outside the room was being recarpeted and painted so maybe there is a refurb happening throughout. Would we stay again? Without a doubt. Gavin kindly gave us an early check-in and he was professional and friendly to deal with throughout. We honestly do hope to come and stay again, maybe we'll bring the kids next time ... or maybe not.
