Our guest house is named after our gentle giant dog, Jasper. Jasper was always excited about our weekend getaways to Walla Walla. He enjoyed his walks in Pioneer Park, that is located across the street from our guest house, and loved checking out birds of all kinds. Sadly, Jasper passed away a few months before we opened our house to vacation guests. Jasper's guest house is a pet-friendly guest house and welcomes a maximum of two well-behaved dogs and eight humans.
Alexa Palmer purchased this house in 2012
I rented Jaspers house for a girls wine weekend and could not have been happier with this house! The location was fantastic, we walked to Main Street (about .09 miles) where there are at least 30 wineries which was fantastic. The house was clean, comfy and stocked with the amenities we needed. I ordered food from Whats Cooking for delivery on Friday night that was amazing, Chef Colleen really delivered - we had enough food for 3 meals! We were even able to use leftovers for our Sat picnic while touring wine country out of town. Alexa was very kind and let us check in early Friday, we had a wonderful time and would stay again.
This home is perfect for us as my mom has dementia and we needed a place that was one story, had a kitchen and en suite bathroom. Plus, dog friendly! Everything exceeded our expectations!
Has everything required for a great stay in Walla Walla
We had three couples stay for Fall release weekend. It was a great stay and a nice place. The kitchen/dinning/living room was a great area to hang out and enjoy each other. The backyard is very nice and even though it was November we barbequed outside. Comfortable beds and bedrooms. Pioneer Park across the street was beautiful with all the fall leaves and the aviary is really fun and a great place to take a walk. Only one minor thing to note is the front bedroom is right off the living room, so if you are always the first to bed, take one of the back bedrooms.
Our family of six stayed here and it was the great location. Backyard is perfect for BBQ dinners and the park right across the street was ideal for the kids. Well maintained house and property and it had everything we needed to make for a comfortable weekend away. Looking forward to returning next year!
the house was our base for gentlemen of the road music festival. furnished well with lots of room for 3 couples. easy to cook in and bbq. we would recommend to others. and dog friendly although ours stayed home.
Located across the street from Pioneer Park and the famous pheasant aviary, near Whitman College, and too many premium wineries.
