Welcome to Cascade Village Resort and welcome to our beautiful three bedroom, three bathroom, luxury condominium located 2 miles North of Purgatory Ski Resort.

Cascade Village is nestled under the beautiful Needles Peaks and offers spectacular views of Engineer Mountain and the San Juan Mountains. Located just 2 miles north of Purgatory Ski Resort, 20 miles south of Silverton, and 30 miles north of Durango, Cascade Village is the perfect location for fun year round.

This luxury condominium is a perfect place to make some great family memories. The unit features a large living space, ready to cook in kitchen, and awesome views of the Engineer Mountain. Free Wi-Fi is included!

Hi my name is Rhonda and this is my husband Todd. We have been owning and managing condos at Cascade Village since 2010. We pride ourselves on providing each and every guest with a great stay in the heart of the San Juan Mountains. We also pride ourselves on taking care of each unit we manage as if it were our own.

This unit is absolutely beautiful. It was remodeled in 2014 with an all new kitchen, flooring, and all new furnishings. The furnishings are gorgeous and boast a western flair.

This unit is the San Juan building and has unobstructed views.

The description was a little misleading.

The description of the property said every room has smart tvs. That is true. Never did I think those tvs wouldn't have dish. Honestly what good is a smart tv if the I internet is super slow. That was one of the main reasons we booked this place. We have all adult kids and wanted everyone to have their own tvs for the evening and mornings. Anyway, it should say there is no channels on the tvs. Also, didn't realize the grill was a community grill. Brought steaks from home to cook. Huge inconvenience. Beds were not comfortable. Other than that, it was fine. We will not be back to this condo.

Owner's Response: Hi Lisa, Thank you for the review of our 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo at Cascade Village Durango. Just to clarify- the unit has a total of 5 smart TVs. Three of the TVs are hooked up to the dish- the one in the living area, the loft, and the master bedroom. The other 2 TVs in bedroom #2 and bedroom #3 being smart TVs can be watched via streaming on your mobile device. All of our TVs have DVD players attached for guest enjoyment. I apologize that was not made clear to you prior to booking. Mattress firmness and comfort are highly variable from guest to guest. I'm sorry our mattresses were not to your liking. All mattresses in this unit are plush pillow top mattresses. As we explained to your father upon check-in we do not place gas BBQ grills on decks as guests continually leave the propane tanks on causing a fire hazard. The community grill, located at the lodge, is very close to this unit and provided for guest use. My husband and I pride ourselves on providing beautiful accommodations in the heart of the rocky mountains. Sorry this unit fell short of your expectations. Rhonda - Cascade Luxury

Great Accommodations and Location!

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) enjoyed a wonderful Fall Break at this unit in the Cascade Village! Everything about the unit was as described and very comfortable. Though we picked a week that was in between the active times for the area (Summer and Winter), we were able to enjoy the swimming pool and hot-tubs at the Village, and the front desk people were very helpful in our planning of daily activities. We hiked many trails in the area as well. The owners were very accommodating when we decided to extend our stay. As a family we've decided to make a return visit to the area again soon and will be searching out this same unit to stay at.

Excellent rental home and great management interaction

We spent 3 nights at Cascade Village for a family ski trip. We had 4 skiers and 3 non-skiers in our party. The original property, managed by Rhonda, had a water issue that was beyond her control. She kept us informed every step of the way on the progress of fixing the problem. Before we arrived, it was obvious to her that the water issue wouldn't be settled by the time we got there, so she moved us to another similar unit. We really appreciated her taking such good care of us!

We had a great time in the property. It is nicely decorated, nicely equipped and had great views of the mountains. We didn't have any issues the entire time we were there. The ski shuttle was very convenient and is a great way to have a care-free day on the slopes. The only draw-back on the shuttle is that you have limited opportunities to catch it, so you have to be on time. We are looking forward to spending other seasons with Rhonda in one of her properties.

It's an easy drive to Durango with plenty of great restaurants to choose from. You can't go wrong with any properties Rhonda has, you will have a worry-free great time when you visit. Thanks for making us feel right at home and well cared for!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! 3 mins down the road from the mountain and the condo was amazing. We had 3 couples and it worked out perfect for us. The only down fall is that the shuttle on runs 3 times in the morning and 3 times in the afternoon. So if you don't want to spend all day on the mountain you should drive. Which the drive isn't bad at all.

Great place!

This place was beautiful and very nicely furnished. The only downside was the internet was awful. Shuttle to ski was easy to catch both at Purgatory and at CV. Would definitely stay here again.
