About Denise Rossano

My husband and I have been together since we were teenagers and have always made our way up to Pennsylvania from New York for the past 32 years. We accidentally found Jim Thrope when we picked up a brochure for mountain biking. When we turned into the town we couldn't believe how beautiful it was. As we took our first step into this house, we were in love. I hope you will have wonderful memories, adventure packed weeks or just stop in and fall in love all over again!

Denise Rossano purchased this house in 2011

Why Denise Rossano chose Jim Thorpe

Besides the obvious reasons of beauty, the history of the house and its location, just sold us.

What makes this house unique

Walk to musical shows, museums, restaurants and shops.

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

The house is amazing - very spacious, anything you need is there, a great getaway spot in a fabulous town that offers a little bit of everything for everybody. It's located right on the main drag, so just steps away from the shops.

Clean, convenient, quiet and spacious.

  • 5 of 5

The house is well located to easily access the attractions and restaurants of Jim Thorpe by walking. All the rooms are on the first floor, the bedrooms being clean and comfortable. The 1850's house/mansion has been updated as to electrical, plumbing, kitchen, bathrooms and air conditioning. There is street parking in the front but open spaces are hard to find. Behind the house on a parallel street are designated spaces for this house. This street is on a hillside so there are about thirty steps in the rear to negotiate.

Our third stay at the big red Victorian in Jim Thorpe. Feels like home now. Beautiful, thoughtfully appointed, rich in history, and conveniently located to the great food, cool pubs, historic architecture, antiques and shops of charming Jim Thorpe. We'll be back soon!

Beautiful house in perfect location

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect stay for my sister's bachelorette party. The house was gorgeous and much bigger than it looked in pictures. We had a great time staying in one night and spending time in the living room playing games- plenty of space for 10 women. The other night we went out and this location was perfect! walking distance to all great bars and restaurants. not too far from kayaking and rafting. There was plenty of parking for 3+cars. I will say one thing: our host was not as available to answer questions as I had hoped. We had to contact them before arrival to ensure that the alarm was turned off, but I never heard back and just had to enter the house hoping they turned the alarm off. I also could not figure out how to use the dishwasher and I tried to contact them but there was no response. Overall it was fine and nothing major happened that I would have really needed them for. thanks for a great stay!
