Plan a luxurious getaway to Kings Beach and beautiful, crystal blue Lake Tahoe with a stay at this four-bedroom, split level, lakefront vacation condo. And this isn't just any perfectly located, stylish vacation condo, but a famous one - the interior on this space was designed by stylist Nathan Turner and even featured in C Magazine a couple of years ago!
Situated in Brockway Shores, you'll have a private beach right on Lake Tahoe to play on, boat dock access, and lots of tall trees surrounding you for a memorable, delightful Tahoe trip, be it for skiing with the family, boating with a group of friends, or just seeing the sights year-round.
From the living room, you'll be able to take in stunning lake views, while warming yourself in front of the large rock-faced, wood burning fireplace. Comfortable furniture is set up in a way to make relaxing and conversation easy. There's plenty of artwork to enjoy, as well as a state-of-the-art, 42-inch flat screen TV with cable and a DVD player. When you're not out enjoying the nightlife in Kings Beach or across the Nevada state line, you can pop in a DVD, make some popcorn, and settle in for a movie night with family or friends.
Right off the open dining and living rooms, you'll find a large deck with patio furniture and a gas grill for scenic afternoon cookouts, before dinner cocktails, or even practicing morning yoga. The dining table will seat 10 for meals with quite a bit of rustic character, thanks to the antler chandelier. From the table, you'll also have great blue lake views to take in.
When you want to stay in for home-cooked meals, the chef in your group will love the bright, modern kitchen! With granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, making meals here will be a joy. There's even a butler's pantry so you'll have plenty of room to store your groceries for the week. And of course, there's a dishwasher for easy clean up. You'll also find a slow cooker here - spend the day on the slopes and come home to the smells of a hearty rosemary lamb stew.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed and access to the lakefront deck. The lucky inhabitant of this room will enjoy bringing their coffee back to bed and leisurely waking up in the morning surrounded by serene coziness. An en suite bathroom is attached with a double sink vanity, granite counters, and a tiled shower.
There's also a queen bedroom, and a bedroom with two twin beds, a TV, and deck access. The fourth bedroom in this condo has a comfortable sleeper sofa and a desk for working on a laptop, sketching in a travel journal, or just storing books and travel items. In addition to a half bath, there's also another full bathroom with granite counters and a relaxing jacuzzi tub.
This vacation condo will comfortably sleep eight guests and other amenities include a washer and dryer in a large laundry room, WiFi, and a stereo with a CD player.
As wonderful as the interior of this condo is, the location is even more desirable. Stroll down to the private beach and walk along the shore or head to the private dock and take an evening boat ride around the lake. If you don't have your own boat to bring on vacation, you can rent one (or even a kayak) right in town at numerous shops. Not surprisingly, Kings Beach is also home to many beaches for more frolicking, sand castle building, or picnicking by the shore. Golfers won't feel neglected here either, the historic Old Brockway Golf Course (rated one of the top 10 golf course in Northern California by Golf Today Magazine) is only a mile to the west.
On evenings when you don't feel like cooking, there are a number of restaurants right in town, many just a 5 to 15 minute walk away. Hearty breakfasts can be had at Log Cabin Caffe and there's even all you can eat nigiri and maki at Hiro Sushi. If you're feeling lucky, right across the Nevada state line you'll find the Crystal Bay Casino and its world class entertainment, fine dining, and casino games.
In winter, skiing at Northstar California Resort in Truckee is a mere 10 minutes from your door and snowshoeing around the forested areas is a snowy option as well. For a bit of variety the ski resorts of Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley are both a 30 minute drive away too. We're sure that whether you come to Kings Beach and Lake Tahoe for boating, golfing, or skiing, you'll find this luxurious vacation condo a delight to return to each evening!
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
While the view and walk down to the lake was phenomenal, this house wasn't up to par. A few areas that we experienced the most trouble were: the televisions, the toilets, the seating and the lighting.
The televisions were our biggest problem as they were completely outdated. The downstairs television had no cable, was unable to plug any extra device into as there were no plugs, and the only feature it did have was a VHS system. The upstairs television was also outdated as our Xbox was unable to be plugged in again, given the wiring. We only wanted to plug in this device to watch the UFC fight that was a big feature the weekend we attended.
The toilets were another issue as the upstairs bathroom and downstairs guest toilets both had to be manually flushed. The chain on both toilets were broken so the only way to flush them was to open the lid and reach in to flush using that method.
The seating was also an issue. We only have 5 guests this weekend, and we struggled finding a comfortable seat. There were couples and the couch was the only location in which two could "snuggle" comfortably. I am not sure how 8 people could all sit together in the living room.
Lastly, the lights above the dining table kept on going out/flickering. Very frequently, we would have to tap the lights in order for them to turn on.
We hope that this cabin gets a bit of updating as it needs some t.l.c, especially if items are breaking (including their shovel to scoop fire ashes among other things).
Comfortable beds, clean & nicely decorated. Beautiful views & centrally located. Property manager was very quick at bringing us a new coffee maker when the other one broke! We'll definitely come back.
Used this place for 2 nights for a girls getaway. Enjoyed the view. We were one of the only people staying midweek in the development. Quiet except for repaving taking place in the parking lot during business hours. Only problem was trying to use the sofabed. Could not find sheets or the pump for the air mattress. After calling manager, we found the pump and sheets were delivered promptly. Place was clean and in good condition.
We probably will use this place again next year.
Great place to rent! Master suite was fabulous for us and the downstairs provided plenty of room for the kids to entertain themselves. Wish we could have stayed longer. Convenient location to lake and ski resorts.
I liked the house and was pleasently surprised on how nice the home felt. . The house has been updated and well thought out. The use of space and windows make it private but still seem very open.
If you are looking for lots of space and being in the north shore of Tahoe i would recommend this rental to anyone.
