About Lamont

Since visiting Catalina Island over 20 years ago, I've always dreamt of owning anything on the Catalina Island. Allow me to share my dream with.

Lamont purchased this villa in 2012

Why Lamont chose Los Angeles County

This building is the closet to the beach you can get. With zero steps to climb to get to the front door, its convenient and comfy for people from 2 to 8. With two PRIVATE (non shared) balconies, you can truly enjoy your privacy.

What makes this villa unique

Two entries into the unit, one from the Kitchen/Livingroom and another from the master suite, so mom and dad can respark the romance in complete privacy.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Lamont I just wanted to thank you again for your beautiful place and the whole family and friends had a time of our lives. Weather was a perfect 10!

Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our time on the island and in the condo. Hamilton Cove is lovely and secluded (2 coves north of Avalon). The use of the golf cart was amazing and necessary, so thank you! The next cove over has a great beach front restaurant and bar as well as kayak/paddle board rentals, etc. The amenities of the condo were great: The exercise room, pool area and hot tub are meticulously cared for and cleaned daily. The rocky beach front and sandy area has a fun volleyball court and playground, as well as areas to just sit and relax. The couches at Lamont's condo might just be the most comfortable couches I have ever relaxed on! I would love to buy some just like them! Everything was great. We will recommend this rental to anyone we know of who goes to Catalina.

A Great Find

Had a wonderful stay with my grandchildren. The accommodations were great. And the location was very accessible to all the features of Hamilton Bay.

We have had many excursions to Catalina and this was the best.

Beautiful Surprise

  • 5 of 5

I haven't been to Catalina a a very long time. Two of the kids had never been and the other two hadn't been in many years and really didn't remember much. This property is nestled into the hillside and was perfect. The best part was having a golf cart for our use. . Every part of the weekend was wonderful and a great way to spend quality time together. The condo was comfortable and all on one floor so we could easily move the baby around. Can't wait to return. Thank you for sharing your home.

Great location

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our vacation is Hamilton Cove spent with her daughter and son-in-law and two grandchildren. It was far enough from the town of Babylon to be exclusively enjoyable and close enough to be obtainable 3 to 4 times per day.

We took advantage of most of the things available on the island and were thrilled. The condo was just as advertised and was clean accessible and very comfortable. If we had to do it over again the only change we would make is to find an apartment on the ocean side where there is a breeze blowing all day long.

Two Day Stay

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time during our visit to Catalina. Having the golf cart made this rental worth the money. The condo is perfect for a group who wants to spend the day at the small beach at Hamilton Cove as it is just steps away. The pool and spa are nearby also. As far as the condo goes, it was mostly okay but there are some things that need updating and hopefully by now the master bedroom toilet no longer leaks or runs constantly. Catalina is on major water restrictions Also, you do have to go up a set of steps to reach the elevator. Just a warning to the disabled.
