About Judy Woodley

We have lived in Colorado for 13 years now, love it all but love Grand County the most. We especially love both Winter Park and Grand Lake; there is so much to enjoy. Skiing, boating, hiking, and more.

Judy Woodley purchased this condo in 2012

Why Judy Woodley chose Winter Park Area

How awesome is it that Colorado's most beautiful lake is only half an hour's drive from Colorado's best ski area? And, that we have a little patch of lush green grass right on the Fraser River in between the two?? Life is good - and we are happy to share it with our friends/guests.

What makes this condo unique

This unit spares those who would rather not tackle stairs. You don't have to lug all your groceries, kids, bicycles and ski equipment up and down. Take it easy this vacation!

We visit Winter Park often. Our daughter and her husband live in the building next door. Judys condo was as good as any condo we've stayed in. Very comfortable. Marty and Deb keep walks clear and even shoveled path to my daughters. Of course a payment of a couple cold ones help. We would stay here again no problem. Marty and Lauren

Great unit with lots of amenities. Separate bedroom and bathroom offset the small kitchen.

  • 4 of 5

We love staying at Hi Country Haus. It is a great location for Winter Park, Mary Jane and Frasier. Tons of pickup points for the WP/MJ shuttles. This is the fifth different unit we have stayed in. For ow, the one bedroom setup with pullout couch is perfect for our family of four with with two small children. Separate bedroom with TV is a real plus for our visits! Kitchen had plenty of room and amenities for making dinner. The fireplace was used every evening as the perfect end to a great ski day. Although we rarely get up for the summer time, the front porch and outdoor area looked very relaxing.

Very nice, convenient

  • 5 of 5

Perfect condo for 2, very well laid out and easy to get to Fernando's, Peak, Bowling Alley, and just a little farther to Deano's. Easy stop at Rise and Shine for a Summit bagel in the morning before getting to Mary Jane and the C Lot. Spices and stuff in the cupboard so you don't have to buy everything to eat in. Really enjoyed it.

Fun, easy near town and the river!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful place. It's right next to the river, a 5 minute walk to town, 3 miles from Frasier, and was quiet and nicely equipped! We enjoyed having our meals next to the river and would highly recommend this place!

River Runs Thru It

  • 4 of 5

Romantic get-away by the river. Swaying on the wooden swing just outside the condo door, sipping my morning coffee, watching the river run is my favorite AM ritual when visiting. Really love the setting in the trees! Being on the ground floor makes access super easy and location is so convenient. The condo is appointed nicely, very clean and well equipped for cooking and creature comforts. We enjoyed the shower very much! A point to note is that the pool and hot tubs are "under construction" since about 2012? There is plenty else to do and the Condo is worth it! Thanks Judy!

Come enjoy the excellent skiing at Winter Park and its sister slope, Mary Jane. They offer a great selection of terrains, from novice to expert. We enjoy the large variety of blue/black intermediate runs and glade skiing. Winter Park's huge alpine slide creates some special family memories.

You may also enjoy snowmobiling on hundreds of miles of groomed trails nearby. You can rent just the equipment or a guide too. No telling what wildlife and awesome mountain top vistas you will see along the way.

Definitely check out the charming shops in both Winter Park and Grand Lake. Winter Park offers lots of ski and bike oriented shops. Grand Lake is renowned for its quaint wooden boardwalk, unique shops, live theater, and summertime family fun.

Nearby lakes offer visitors boat, kayak, and paddle boat rentals as well as a lively swim beach.

Winter Park is a mountain bikers paradise. There are countless trails through beautiful pine and aspen forests. Several trails connect to the Hi Country House property making for a hassle free weekend. No car required.

With all that said, our favorite daily activity is kicking back in the sunshine on the grassy lawn right in front of our condo. We love the sound of the river!

P.S. Walking into town to eat dinner or enjoy a drink is great too. Check out the community fire pits in the park on your way home. There are so many stars visible in the nigh time sky. Enjoy!
