This gorgeous home is well-appointed with three comfortable and spacious bedrooms (two queen-sized, one king), two natural marble baths, a Jacuzzi bathtub and 46 inch TV in the master suite, limestone and natural oak floors, vaulted ceilings, tons of light, a chef's kitchen with stainless steel island and two ovens, breakfast table, formal dining for eight, two living rooms providing plenty of room to spread out, 51 inch plasma TV in front living room, see-through fireplace, patio off the kitchen and huge decks overlooking an almost full acre, park-like lot. You will not find another home like it in Fayetteville, and will love the convenience and amenities.
*Please note: The basement is my office and studio, and access to it and the washer and dryer are only an option for renters who rent by the week or month. If I have to pop in or work there, you won't even know I'm there as there is a side gate and direct entrance.
I am a writer and artist from Fayetteville. As a renter of vacation homes myself, I remodeled and designed the house to feel like a private retreat. It is my personal home, and my full time office is located in a private basement.
Rose Bunch purchased this house in 2000
I have remodeled six homes and this is the one I kept. No matter where I move to, I don't think I can ever part with this house and will always be returning to the Ozarks. Fayetteville has so much to offer in terms of natural beauty, events and laid-back lifestyle. If you are looking at this website you probably already know that. This house will put you in a location that makes it easy to access all this region has to offer, close to Dickson Street and downtown, while also providing a unique and elegant retreat that is private and spacious.
I totally gutted and remodeled this house. I have a preference for natural materials (stone and wood) as well as metal, so I redesigned the fireplace and covered it in tumbled, rough marble with dual wrought iron mantles. Plenty of windows and porches were added, such as the covered, private porch off the master bedroom. From there you can sometimes catch sight of the massive hawk who nests nearby. Off the kitchen I have put in a tiered, herb garden that provides fresh rosemary, basil, sage, chives - whatever is seasonal - for cooking, and an additional seating area for enjoying your morning coffee. At night you can sleep with the doors open and awake to the sunlight and birdsong in the master suite, which almost feels like a tree house because of the many old growth oak and maples. This home is like no other in Fayetteville, or anywhere else, and it is the uniqueness of the physical property combined with the personal touches of the interior that you will enjoy.
We had three couples stay at this home in 2013 for Bikes, Blues, and BBQ. This is a spacious home that is ideal for a group of people. The property itself is absolutely stunning. The home is newly renovated and has exquisite decor. The property is located on a spacious lot, with mature trees, and a large deck overlooking the property. The location is perfect for BBB, being only a few miles away from Dickson St. The property owner was more than helpful and went above and beyond to insure that our stay was exceptional. If you are considering renting this house for any reason, I assure you that you will not be disappointed.
My wife and I are moving back to Fayetteville after 2 years living abroad. While building our new home we needed a place to stay. Rose went out of her way to give us not just a place to stay, but a real home. It made coming back to the US an easy transition while we waited for our house to be built and have all of our good delivered from overseas.
The house has 3 ample bedroom and 2 bathrooms upstairs with extra space and a bathroom downstairs (which our cat loved). The yard is massive and the deck was perfect for entertaining. The kitchen was ready to go with everything we needed as well.
This was our 2nd trip to BBBQ and our 2nd time to rent a home. We chose this house because of its close proximity to Dickson as well as its size since we had 7 in our group. Plenty of room inside the house as well as outside on its many patios. Very private setting in a quiet neighborhood. This is becoming our favorite rally due to the beautiful scenery, the perfect weather, and the people. We will be back and hopefully this house will be available!
This is a marvelous place for any person or group wanting to get away from it all and relax while still being in the heart of Fayetteville. The outdoor and indoor spaces are beautiful and the beds are really comfortable. Our whole group really enjoyed staying here as well as the privacy we each had with all the great rooms, decks and the big private back yard. The owner, Rose, is helpful and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Fayetteville!
Attending an SEC football game takes preparation. While we secured tickets and flights, we didn't address the issue of where we would stay once we got there. With all hotels in a 15 mile radius booked up, I turned to VRBO.
What an amazing property this was. Four alumnus headed to Fayetteville and found a stunning 3 bedroom property that was perfect. The owner went above and beyond to make us comfortable and provide everything we would need for our short 2 day stay. From the large backyard for tossing the football, to the fully functioning kitchen, to the oversized master bedroom. Everything was maintained immaculately and we couldn't have asked for a better location (3 miles to the stadium).
I would highly recommend this place if staying in the Fayetteville area.
Great House! Great Location! Even better host! We rented the house for a football game and could not have been happier. The place was great and the owner Rose was super helpful. Would recommend this rental to anyone.
If you are looking for a short or longer term rental for a unique, beautiful home with all amenities while you are getting settled in Fayetteville, transitioning to a new job, or planning an extended visit, then this is a great property and location. This home is perfectly located for access to all that Fayetteville has to offer. Conveniently located near Dickson Street and the University of Arkansas, and situated on a large, private lot in a quiet, residential neighborhood. You can be anywhere from the mall, to your favorite restaurant or bar, to the stadium, to a grocery store within minutes.

Daytime meeting prices with no overnight stay are negotiable if you are looking for a business retreat in Northwest Arkansas. Lengthier stays or daytime meetings offer reduced rates, and I may be able to negotiate with property exchange.

Without a deposit you will not have a reservation, and the invoice will be canceled. The remainder is due 45 days prior to the occupation date or the reservation is subject to cancelation.
