Our apartment is fully furnished and has broad 9’6” ft. windows, providing great views of the Downtown area and plenty of daylight. The bedroom has a queen size bed, the den has a double size bed and desk area. An open style kitchen gives the place a very comfortable and open feel. All (like new!) linens, towels, hair drier, iron and all kitchen accessories are provided for our guests.

About Jorge Babosa

We are originally from Brazil but have lived in Vancouver for quite a while (I don't want to date myself!). My husband Jorge is a carpenter and is also building a catamaran, for which I highly admire him! I have a business that I am very proud of, called Mogiana Coffee. I import coffee directly from my family's estate in Brazil. It is one of the best coffees you will ever taste (of course I am a little biased!), with over 120 years of tradition behind it.

Great location for being in the heart of the city.

My family of four spent 3 nights here. The condo was clean and as described in the description. It was fairly tight with 4 people in the condo, but was very nice considering we were in the heart of the city. The beds were comfortable in the two bedrooms. I enjoyed the small balcony which is fairly rare in this area to get a birds eye view of the city life. We did drive here, and being able to purchase a parking pass for the garage in the condo was nice as other parking options would have been challenging. As other reviewers stated you can hear city noises at night but that's to be expected when you stay in the city. Jorge was helpful in answering our questions and I would recommend this place if you want to be within walking distance to the downtown attractions.

Location and property owner !!!

The location of this apartament is great, the property owner was very helpfull when needed, we had a leatle problem with the air condicioner and the fan in the bedroom, the fan defenily needs to be replaced, maybe with an aircondicioner, but overall it was an amazing experience staing at Jorge's apartament. Thanks again Jorge.

Great location

We (myself, my wife, 3 year old son and my mom) stayed in this condo around July. The best part about this condo is it's location. It's located right in front of Granville Street and at a walking distance to most downtown attractions. It can get noisy with the downtown buzz in late evenings if you decide to keep the windows open - we actually liked the downtown buzz. We loved eating out in the downtown restaurants, which were at a walking distance from this place.

The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Please remember to bring your own tea and coffee. The unit is on the small'ish side for a group size of four, if you are travelling with elderly people. My mom is over sixty and had difficulty getting in and out of the loft. But this shouldn't be an issue if the family configuration is a couple travelling with kids. The unit tends to get pretty hot in July afternoons and the portable air conditioner in the living room couldn't keep up. Actually, the AC stopped working after a few hours and the owner was super helpful in letting me know that I had to drain the water from its back to fix the issue. It resumed after I drained the water, but then it stopped again after an hour so I decided to give up.

I would recommend this unit if you're looking to stay near the downtown, but it can get quite pricey in the summer.

Ideal for a break

Great place. Very central. Great host, with some good ideas of where to visit. Lively area, can be noisy at night. The loft bed is challenging for someone older. Well equipped kitchen. Did miss the little extras we had in previous properties (tea, Coffee etc). The tv remote was hard to sort until we found out batteries where dead, something the host should check. We also loaded the laundry into machine before we found out the laundry card didn't have money on and then had to go down to basement to load it, you had to add 10 dollars. But overall a nice stay.

Very Nice Property in Great Location

We spent three nights in this property in early July and found it perfect for our needs. We were exploring the city for a few days after attending a wedding on Bowen Island. The condo is very centrally located in downtown Vancouver. We walked all over downtown from the condo, including going to Granville Island, Gastown, Canada Place, the aquarium at Stanley Park, and a concert in David Lam Park. We only used a cab when we went to the Tearoom in Stanley Park for dinner.

The condo itself is very well-appointed and decorated. The accommodations were perfect for my husband, teenaged son, and me. Jorge was also very helpful to us. We would stay here again!

Great location and comfortable accommodations

My mother and I enjoyed our visit to Vancouver in large part because of the fabulous location of this apartment. The kitchen had everything I needed to make meals when we wanted to eat in. The beds were comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. We walked to fabulous shopping, great shows, and excellent restaurants. The place was clean enough. It could use a deep cleaning (then again, so could my home). I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Vancouver.
