Just completely awesome!!! I felt like a King and Queen. Our teenage kids likes the whole property and location for all sorts of water sports and going to Times Square. Great location on the island; in the middle of everything but yet quiet area on the beach for relaxing; quick 10 minute walk to get to the heart of the beach excitement. Super balanced for everyone. Be sure to try the FISH HOUSE for the freshest seafood on the island.

The villa is a beautiful home. Our stay was wonderful as it has been in the past.

The house and furnishings are top of the line. The owner works hard to keep it up to date. The dishwasher wasn't working when we got there but a new one was installed before we left. The ice maker was not working on refrigerator. A part was on order to fix it. Other than those couple of items it was a beautiful trip.

Owner's Response: Thank you. We do try to keep the property functioning at all times. The property manager and I check things at every departure and respond promptly during guests' stay. As a guest, you will have my direct email and phone number. I also live right next door and am readily available to you. Because this is such a highly rented property, we rarely have vacancies thus requiring a breakdown to be done sometimes during a guest stay. We try to AVOID this at all possible costs; we even have a back-up refrigerator in the garage since a vacation in Florida needs a refrigerator! We try to think of all possible ways to keep our guests happy and satisfied. The pool is serviced twice a week routinely, the beach is tractor groomed monthly, the property is mowed and raked weekly. All linen is removed after each rental and new sanitized linens are brought in for each new rental. The month of September can be rainy and we always schedule a 5 day deep clean of the Villa getting into those little areas that may not get noticed on the weekly clean. Annually we also paint the exterior and interior on an alternating schedule.

Amazing Vacation Rental

This home is beautiful and full of amenities. It had everything one would need while spending a week at the beach, including linens! There were six adults staying together and we had a wonderful time relaxing by the ocean and/or pool. We made use of the variety of outdoor games provided and enjoyed the morning sightings of dolphins right off shore. Susan and Ed have a beautiful home and I feel so fortunate to have come across it while searching for the perfect place to spend a week with our two daughters and their husband and boyfriend. I highly recommend this home if you are planning a vacation in Fort Myers. The property is gorgeous, very well maintained, and is conveniently located to some wonderful restaurants. Our favorite was the Island View located on the sixth floor of the Lani Kai resort on Estero Blvd. Don't let the exterior fool you, it is a diamond in the rough. It was by far the best meal all week. Hats off to Chef Charlie.

Susan and Ed were wonderful--always checking in to see if we had what we needed and were prompt to respond to a request.

Thank you Ed and Susan, we had a wonderful time and made some wonderful memories. We look forward to returning soon.

We never ate at the Island View restaurant ( crazy as it sounds since we live here) but will be trying it very soon! We try to provide our renters what we want in a vacation home and a 5 star premier property. Fort Myers Beach is our home but was always a fun spot even when our now adult children were toddlers and we just vacationed here. There's something for everyone.

A Little Piece of Heaven

The property was exactly how it was listed. This home is absolutely beautiful! The ocean views are breath taking ! This home was more than what we had expected. There were five adults and three children and the space was wonderful. Never did we feel crowed or lacked for a private space. The bedrooms were spacious and the master was stunning. The kids (and adults) loved the privacy of the pool and hot tub and it was only a few feet from the beach. Everything you need for a nice get-away was included, i.e. beach umbrellas, beach chairs, etc. We loved the little street the home was on, close to recreation, shops, restaurants and even a 7-11 across the street for last minute food items or snacks. The owner was very assessable with any questions you may have. This stay was indeed, "a little piece of heaven!"

THE most AMAZING HOUSE!!!!

I rented this home for a week with my friends for my 50th - Had four people total in the house - The house is exactly what you see on the website - It is beautiful, has every pot, pan, dishes, glasses, you name it she has it stocked!! The décor is that of a luxury hotel and she provides plenty of linens and towels - There is more than enough beach chairs and umbrellas - Had a spectacular time and would come again and will rent again!!! By far the best vacation ever!!! The house sleeps more than 4 but I would suggest not having more than 6 or 8 to sleep comfortably - The owner was great and she is excellent at communicating with you while you are staying there!! Incredible time!!!!! This place is by far worth every penny!!!

The perfect vacation!!!!!

This was our second year enjoying this BEAUTIFUL beachfront home. My husband, mother and two kids were thrilled to hear we were going back! A prime location (not far from the pier) with calm waters and beach rentals (para-sailing and wave-runners) right next door. Our kids (ages 13 and 8) had a wonderful time and enjoyed the pool, hot tub, biking along the beach, and shelling. I miss our late afternoons of relaxing on the huge balcony playing cards and watching the dolphins swim by. I found the master bed extremely comfortable (I am VERY picky about a good mattress) and my mom and kids said they were also very comfortable and slept well. The kitchen is fully equipped with ample supplies (and Keurig) and the grill was clean with full gas tank (we love to BBQ and really appreciated that). The elevator is perfect for luggage, groceries and bringing down a tray for lunch. The owner is easy to work with and responded to requests immediately. Couldn't be happier with property or experience!!!! I could go on and on...we enjoyed a perfect vacation here and will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing Villa Del Mar with us!!!
