Fabulous 135m2 (1,453 sq ft) top floor apartment with a large terrace, located in a prestigious residential area, between the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides. Also steps away from rue Saint Dominique and rue Cler, known for nice shops and restaurants. Metro stations in walking distance: Alma Marceau, Pont de l'Alma, La Tour Maubourg and Invalides.

The apartment is on the 7th floor of a modern building with two elevators. A conditioning in living/dining area and also in the master bedroom. Also have a couple of electric fans keep the apartment cool during summer months.

The apartment comfortably accommodates 5 people. There are 2 bedrooms - one with a king size bed and its own bathroom (bath tub, sink & toilet) and large walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed and work desk. Adjacent to this room is a shower and sink, also accessible from the hallway. Both bedrooms face the courtyard. A single bed foldable bed, currently in the 2nd bedroom can be moved to the master bedroom or in the living room area.

A 2nd toilet is located near the 2nd bedroom in the hallway.

The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, including a full size refrigerator-freezer, gas stove, conventional oven, micro-wave oven, dishwasher, coffee maker. There is a washing machine and a dryer, lovely spacious living room, dining area, and private terrace.

Spacious apartment in excellent location

We had a long planned trip and were going to stay at the Westin but could not use points due to hurricane damage at resort we were going to exchange for points.

We found this fairly close to our departure and looked at a lot of apartments, most of them being much smaller. This was huge by Paris Home away standards as far as I could tell. We are a family of 4 with 2 young children and also had a nephew join us from Prague for a few days.

There was plenty of room for all of us with the two bedrooms and fold out bed. The kitchen had everything and although we did not cook much besides breakfast it was very handy for having cheese, sausage, crackers and wine on hand and snacks and cereal and milk for kids.

The wifi was great and TV cable was there, although not a lot in English.

We used Netflix on wifi which worked great for both kids and adults.

I was able to keep up with work on laptop and iPads and kids iPads all worked at the same time, this was very important.

The location of apartment is superb, we were a block from the river and short walk to Eiffel Tower. There were good restaurants all around and Rue Cler market street was a couple blocks and had wine shops, cheese shops, restaurants and other stores. There were two grocery stores a block away and we were able to keep fridge stocked with everything we needed for 9 days. It was a great base for exploring Paris on foot, although we used taxis quite a bit because we had 7 and 11 year old children with us. The street and apartment were quiet and the space allowed us to put kids to bed and stay up to hang out.

I highly recommend this apartment and location and would definitely stay here again, so glad the hotel did not work out for us as this was much better and saved us hundreds of Euros just having the kitchen available, even without cooking much.

Bright and Spacious

This lovely apartment was well-equipped and clean. Near Rue Cler, so shopping for fine French bread, wine, and cheese was convenient. The stop for Bus #69 (see Rick Steve's guide) is on the next street over, and the Eiffel Tower is only a 5-10 minute walk. Maria was a joy to work with and responded quickly to any of our concerns. We cannot wait to come back to Paris and spend another week in this beautiful penthouse!

Perfect Location; Great for families; Safe and secure; Walking distance to so much!

Our family of four (mom, dad, and two boys, ages 7 and 9) visited Paris and called this lovely top floor apartment our home for 5 days!

LOCATION: PERFECT. Literally, walking distance to everything, including Musee de Armee, Invalides, Eiffel Tower, Musee d'Orsay, Musee Rodin, Louvre, Jardin de Tuilieries, and the list goes on. Plenty of local bistros at which to dine on Rue Cler or surrounding streets. Metro stop close enough. Walk 2 blocks to walk along the Seine.

FOOD CONVENIENCES: Several grocery stores, including Franprix, Bio c' Bon, and convenience store, within 2 blocks. Bagel shop, Starbucks, and plenty of DELICIOUS bakeries within a 2 block radius. I strongly recommend La Fromagerie on Rue Cler for CHEESE and Nelly Julien on Rue St. Dominique for CROISSANTS and other baked breads/pastries (or the place on the corner before you turn onto Rue Cler - I can't remember the name). Macarons from Lemoine (if you don't want to battle the lines or prices at Pierre Herme). Try Cafe Central for super friendly service. Most of the bistros on Rue Cler and surrounding streets are a good cross of locals and tourists.

APARTMENT: Top floor. Secure entrance - you can only enter with key (and there is a building guard/attendant during the weekdays during regular hours). We felt very safe and secure. Apartment - while slightly dated (VERY 1987) - had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed. We ate breakfast at home before starting the day's adventures. The kitchen is fully stocked; plenty of clean linens; and peek-a-bo views of the Eiffel Tower from the adorable patio/deck. We had lovely weather during our stay so didn't need to regularly use the portable AC units that were in the main living room and master bedroom. We used them on one day and they worked well.

AMENITIES: Wi-fi worked great. Plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, dish soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, etc. Very well equipped.

PROPERTY MGR MARIA and MONSIEUR LOYER: SOOOO friendly and helpful! Maria responds promptly and is a wealth of information. Ask anything. She has answers! Monsieur Loyer meets you upon arrival. He does not speak English, but we had absolutely no trouble understanding him as he kindly walked us through the apartment to show us everything.

BEDROOMS: 1 master with king with adjustable bed. 1 second bed with full size + fold-away. Perfect for our boys. 1 bath/shower/toilet/sink in master + 1 shower/sink/toilet for others.

OVERALL: A+; would stay again!

Great apartment in city center!!

This spacious apartment was perfect for our family of 4 and the 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower was awe amazing!! The nearby area had great restaurants and sightseeing. I would consider coming back and staying here again.

Very well located-Excellent layout

We've been in Paris many times always staying in a hotel. Renting this apartment was a very positive change - one we expect to do again - hopefully with this apartment which was large and bright. It was very clean and well maintained. Within a few blocks are great markets and known restaurants. The RER and Metro are accessible nearby. A high point for us: Maria couldn't have done a better job. We highly recommend her and plan to call on her with our travel plans in the future.

A perfect place in Paris

This is a wonderful apartment in a perfect location in Paris. In the heart of the 7th arrondissement - itself a good location - it's a wonderful place. Large by Paris standards, very well appointed, clean and airy, one couldn't ask for a better place for one's Paris sojourn. We were a party of 2 and the place was probably too big for us, but we enjoyed having the space to spread out and relax. There are a number of restaurants and stores close by, so everything one needs is handy. Well managed and organized this is a #1 place to stay in Paris.

We spent a week in Paris at the beautiful apartment on rue Université during Paris Photo. The apartment was a block away from the Seine. The location was ideal since the Paris Photo took place in the Gand Palais, a 15 minute walk across the bridge. The apartment was amazingly roomy and full of light. It was also very well appointed with comfortable beds. We enjoyed little perks, such as having lovely make-up mirrors attached over the sinks and a great Nespresso machine. The surrounding area was lovely, full of shops and restaurants. The grocery shops were just around the corner. We especially enjoyed two restaurants in the vicinity: Les Fables de la Fontaine on 131 rue Saint Dominique--an artsy little place with very friendly staff serving imaginative food, and just next to it another good restaurant called La Fontaine de la Mars, a traditional French bistro serving southwestern food. Maria, the manager of the apartment, went out of her way to accommodate our various requests and made our stay a pure pleasure. We highly recommend this beautiful apartment and its management. You will feel at home there.
