Returning to the Roaring Fork Valley after years of CA living. Wanted a second home I loved and could share with others.
Bob Kemper purchased this house in 2012
Love at first sight. Beautifully restored by the owners of 30+ years and clearly one of the most authentic and tastefully decorated homes of its type in the area. Incredible downtown Glenwood location, walking distance to everything. Striking distance to Aspen for year-round activities, golf courses galore, and blocks to the world class fishing the Colorado and Roaring Fork Rivers.
Location, location, location! Not to mention, pure class and comfort.
The house is well maintained, well appointed and feels like home as soon as you walk in.
We will be looking to stay here next time we are in Glenwood Springs.
We just spent the best three days at this beautiful Glenwood Springs home. It has it all! The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to entertain. The location to the pool and all the great shops and resturants can't be beat. The home has been beautifully appointed and is very clean. Before leaving we were already planning our return. We would highly recommend this property to all! The owner of this property was amazing and communicates immediately when contacted. If you are planning a trip to Glenwood this is the place to stay! Thanks So Much! Pat and Therese Hamburg
We really enjoyed our stay. We were two couples and the house was laid out perfectly for that. The media room has a very nice sitting area that's away from the kitchen and dining room so you don't hear the TV if you don't want to. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, we also appreciated that the freezer had an ice maker, less trips to the store. The breakfast nook was perfect for jackets, shoes and storage for our coolers and suitcases. We used the dining room everyday and the outdoor grill came in handy as well. Every evening we sat outside on the front porch playing dice and watching the squirrels get ready for winter. This is a fun little town with tons of things to do, or not. Everything was close by, but we were on a very quiet street. Bob was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful home and a great location. We walked to everything and had a wonderful stay. The home is lovely and very well-stocked and organized. Will definitely be returning again!
We are very familiar with Glenwood Springs after living & visiting many years. This excellent restored Victorian house is absolutely the best in the area. It is an easy walk to many restaurants, the Hot Springs pool, and all the shops. The location is unique; in the town but on a quiet residential side street. The owner has provided new kitchen equipment, TV, beds and really nice décor. A couple times we had a question and the owner answered immediately. And it was very clean! For the past 3 years we have rented it for a month and will continue to return.
We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is extremely well supplied, everything you need to make a meal is there. The beds were all quite comfortable, and the baths were clean and well kept. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch very much, was a peaceful place to end our days with a glass of wine and some snacks. The shopping/restaurant areas were in easy walking distance, even for my 82 year old mother! The owner was very responsive and helpful, a real pleasure to work with.
Surrounded by year-round recreational activities (skiing, kayaking, rafting, fishing, hiking, biking, hunting), including the world famous Glenwood Hot Springs.
