Overview

British Columbia Chateau / Country House Rental Photos and Description

1900 sq ft new log cabin

Located in a very private area at the bottom of the Duffy Lake Road, about 10 mins north of Pemberton, our cabin is a new 1900 sq ft log cabin with a beautiful view of Lk Lillooet. We are 10 mins from Joffre Lakes Provincial Park, fantastic hiking and back country skiing up the Duffy. Fantastic golf at Big Sky (rated top 30 courses in Canada), Souring at the Pemberton airport, hot springs 40 mins, world class snowmobiling, hiking, biking and just plain relaxing on a private deck with the wildlife.

We have a second private cedar log cabin on the property that may be available if required. It's 600 sq ft and also private. This cabin can be seen at VRBO #692977.

We also have a property (4 bedroom house In Lions Bay (25 mins north of downtown Vancouver) that we rent. It can be viewed at VRBO 786522. Some guests have started to do a combination rental to experience the back-country and Vancouver area.

Please take note that VRBO may quote rate in US dollars. Top right corner of rates page will relate currency.

Guestbook comments from the manager

we had a great experience at this cabin. very well maintained and the owners are very friendly. it is secluded in the woods, a very large property so u do not hear the nieghbors around u. we brought our dog with us and he had a great time running around and the yard is so big he could be off leash and we did not have to worry about anything. i would recommend this cabin to anyone with a family or a couple looking for a nice place to rent. all the beds are in one spot in a loft so would not recommend to rent if u are looking for seperate bedrooms in the cabin. only 30 min away from whistler and other great places around the whistler area. i would rent this cabin again!

The property was very pretty as it looked toward the lovely lake and we loved the waterfall, too.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was perfect for our family of three. It was quite roomy for us. It was secluded yet right off the main road. We liked that it was only about 15 minutes from Pemberton, too. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evenings and early mornings to take in the beauty of the lake. Loved it and would highly recommend it.

A true paradise just a couple hours outside of Vancouver

  • 5 of 5

We could not have been more impressed by our stay. The cabin is cozy, clean and spacious, particularly for the very affordable price. But the real treat with this space was the view of white-capped mountains and Lillooet Lake from the front yard and the fantastical spring on the grounds. The location was prime as well--only a 15-minute drive from either Pemberton or Joffre Lakes. Couldn't recommend this rental more highly.

Great place to get away

  • 5 of 5

Everything about this place was fantastic. Its nice and secluded, but still reasonably close to Pemberton. Amazing view of the mountain range right in front of the cabin. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get away. Scott was very accommodating and easy to get a hold of. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

Secluded and peaceful

  • 4 of 5

The cabin is spacious and well equipped, with some lovely views through the trees and across the lake.

Since we stayed during the Winter, the stove was essential as there's little other heating, but a roaring fire will soon warm things up.

The bed was very comfortable too, as a couple the sleeping area was large but could easily accommodate a family.

Scott was very helpful and communicative, and the cabin was well located for activities in Pemberton and the surrounding areas.

Beaus

  • 5 of 5

So glad we spent the weekend here. We rented both of the cabins on the lot for the weekend. We took in all the great views Pemberton had to off. Along with venturing out to the Skookumchuck Hot springs which are highly recommended. Both cabins were beautiful and well maintained. The wood fireplace heated the cabins easily. The owner was quick to contact us and answered any questions we had. I would give it 6/5 stars if I could.
