Walk to Griffith Park, which has everything like hiking, tennis, horseback, pool, tennis, soccer, and more. Three blocks to Glendale Blvd (our central Village Area) which has all the shops, eateries, and yoga. Trader Joe's is less than a mile.
Great layout , bedrooms upstairs away from visitors, refinished hardwood floors, Saltillo tile in kitchen, large grassy front yard, rear private small patio, modest yet clean bright, and priced well for the money. Why stay in a hotel??? Smart tv with Netflix and password.

Priced well, about same as our local hotel which is one very small room, great layout with bedrooms upstairs,
Nice mountain views from upstairs.
Everything we needed or wanted. Great value for the area, quiet neighborhood but close to the major freeways for easy access to surrounding areas. Will stay again.
Kevin was a great host, very responsive and clear with his instructions! We never met physically yet I felt like I could trust his help if anything had come up.
Here's the thing though: nothing did come up!
Our stay was perfectly comfortable, the house is very cool, clean and well maintained, homey but not "B&B weird" (no suspicious amount of pillows!) and has a lot of charm. It wasn't far from the places and friends we wanted to visit and coming back to the house and in its very quiet neighborhood after a day of touristing always always felt grounding and peaceful : we slept like babies!
So yeah, overall great time, great house, and we felt very welcome and looked after. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting LA
This property was perfect for what we needed. Safe location, on street parking, quiet neighborhood, and friendly neighbors. We were hoping that the weather would have been warmer, but we made the best of our stay. The location was about 20 min from Staples center and maybe 25 min from universal studios. TVs were equipped with Netflix, which was a plus along with in unit washer/dryer. I would recommend this place to friends/family.
We chose this place because it was near everything we had planned for this trip. The neighborhood is absolutely great if you have activities in north LA, Glendale, Pasadena, Silver Lake, etc. We were traveling with a friend so needed a 2-bedroom place. It was nicely decorated, clean, and had TVs in the living room and each bedroom. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed - even had a couple of well-seasoned cast iron skillets, but something for every type of cook. The cupboards were installed level with the ceiling, which made them extremely high for me (5'3"). The front yard was relaxing, with comfortable chairs and a fountain. There is a small patio off the back with a small table and gas grill. We didn't use this area, although it has potential. This is a tri-plex, and the neighbors are friendly. We didn't have a problem parking within the block. The only problem we had was barking dogs across the street one night about 1 am. Our friend in the bedroom in the back didn't hear them. There are stairs, so you must be able to maneuver them. We are in our late 60's and didn't have a problem. All in all I would recommend this place.
Kevin was very easy to work with and accommodated us at last minute. The apartment is clean and comfy, quiet and interesting layout. If you can handle a remodel with some older elements (floor boarding, tile, etc) then this is a good deal. Could use some window cleaning, and a café curtain in the bathroom would be helpful to screen property behind. All in all, a good stay and price. Thanks Kevin!
House was great for us (3 people), street parking was plentiful. Location is convenient to downtown as well as Silver Lake and other interesting neighborhoods, and there are a couple of good restaurants and coffee places just a short walk away on Glendale Blvd. Would definitely recommend both the house and neighborhood.
