Why Scott Dean chose Cowichan Valley H
We discovered the condo on our drive from Victoria to the north Island to visit friends. We stayed over one night and and when we awoke the next morning we thought we were in Heaven, At that moment we decided to purchase the unit for our family. We now rent it out to others to enjoy what we have enjoyed over the past many years.

Peace & Serenity
We found this unit to be in a great location for our family to come & visit. We enjoyed our winter stay at "Inn by the Sea".
Beautiful location & condo!
Loved our stay at Inn of the Sea. I have stayed at a few different condos here and have loved them all - I have never run into any problems. I look forward to the day that I can rent one more than a week at a time - so much to do and see! The grounds are beautiful and the condo is equipped with everything you need!
Beautiful view and property
We stayed in this lovely condo for the month of September and loved it. The views are amazing. We could watch the otters play on the dock. The weather was nice enough to go swimming most days and the waterfront was perfect for tidal pool searching. We enjoyed the playground, tennis courts, firepit and horse shoes. It would be an ideal location to go kayaking but we did not get around to that. The laundry facilities are nice but can add up cost wise ($3 to wash and $3 to dry). It is a little bit of a drive to town but worth it to be in such a pretty place. There were several very friendly people that we met while we stayed there. We loved exploring the area. My older kids loved Wild Play and Nianamo and Lady Smith had great playgrounds and many things to do. The condo was at one time 2 separate units with one bedroom by itself on a different flood. It was fine for us but if you have really young kids that roam in the morning or night it may not work for you. The host was very easy to work with and we had a great experience. I absolutely recommend this place.
Wonderful stay, gorgeous view
Our family of four had a great holiday in this beautiful corner unit. We loved sitting on the balcony in the mornings or going down to the dock to watch the otters and seals. The little bunnies around the property were fun to watch and we enjoyed the long walks along the ocean. The condo could use a bit of TLC but it has everything you need to feel at home and enjoy your stay. Scott was wonderful to deal with and we would return to this condo in the future.
Condo needs an update but amazing location.
Can't bet the view and wildlife. My family had an amazing time.
May 2017 was our second month long stay at this wonderful condo. The water front unit has great views of the shoreline and Stuart Channel and its plethora of wildlife.....including river otters, seals, the occasional orca and eagles soaring over head. The condo is well equipped and the beds are comfotable. The grounds at Inn Of The Sea are very well kept, which adds to the peaceful ambience. Thanks Scott and Patricia for another enjoyable holiday! Hope to return next year.
