Spacious living, bright rooms and a large balcony make this Dorset holiday cottage in Swanage a dream for extended families. The location is quietly residential yet the beach, shops and pubs are all nearby.

The interior is decorated in a modern simple style, with open living spaces, a new kitchen and a separate games room. 3 double bedrooms plus a quad room for the kids and 3 bathrooms make for comfortable family living.


The Quarterdeck holiday cottage is located just four minutes' walk from the beach, but is also a short walk to Swanage restaurants, shops and pubs. The Dorset holiday house is in a quiet and peaceful location with impressive views of Swanage, the bay and surrounding hills.

The house is rated 4 star by VisitBritain and accredited with a Gold Award for exceptional quality.

About Chris Radford

The Radford family have connections with Swanage going back to 1962. My parents lived there for 20 years and we have holidayed in Swanage every year since we had children in 1993.

We like walking, the picture shows us enjoying a beach barbeque at Chapman's pool

We are now involved with the Swanage and Purbeck Hospitality Association and and keen to see Swanage continue to improve as a holiday destination.

Why Chris Radford chose Swanage

We like the combination of being close to the beach and the town and still being quiet. We love the views from all the rooms and the balcony. The house is really modern bright and spacious and has a happy contented atmosphere.

A great place for a weekend away

The house is large, spacious and well appointed. It’s close to the beach and to Swanage town centre so a perfect location for walking and exploring the area. We had a brilliant weekend and I’d definitely recommend the Quarterdeck for a break or holiday.

The Swanage steam railway to Corfe Castle, visits to Monkey World at Wool and Brownsea Island are very popular with our guests.

We like the stunning coastal scenery, the sandy family beaches and especially the remote and wild beaches at Chapmans Pool, Worbarrow Bay and Durdle Door. Studland Bay with views of Old Harry Rocks provide the most magnificent sandy beach on the South Coast. with scenery views, space and sand dunes.
