Gorgeous, brand new camp feels more like a lodge than a cabin. The house, the property, the views, the furnishings, the amenities, and the location all add up to a top notch, first class vacation experience all year long. There are four bedrooms with two full baths. The two bedrooms on the main floor have queen sized beds. Upstairs one bedroom has two singles and the other has a bunk bed, single over a full (double). The great room encompasses the kitchen, the dining room, and the living room, so no one feels left out when some folks are cooking and others are relaxing in the living room. There is also a comfortable sitting area in the loft if a bit of quiet time is needed. You can grill and eat outside on the deck while watching the kids in the huge, open lawn, or walk down to Maynards for a delicious breakfast or dinner. You can also enjoy just relaxing on the wrap-around porch in one of the Adirondack chairs or on the porch swing, while taking in the spectacular views. You can sit by our fire pit and make s'mores while you make wonderful vacation memories!
We are located at the end of the snowmobile trail, so in the wintertime you can ride right from your backdoor, yet you won't have to listen to other sleds on the trail. River access is directly across the street, while a three minute walk will land you in world class fly fishing spots on the Moose River. The Moosehead Marina is one mile away if you have a need for a deep water slip for your boat. Amazing local hikes are plentiful for all skill levels. Just down the road the Birches has miles of groomed cross country ski trails and mountain bike trails. Squaw Mountain downhill skiing is a fifteen minute drive, and snowshoeing is just the backdoor. You can rent a snowmobile here in town or Greenville. Canoeing, kayaking, and boating on the river or lake is at your fingertips, and the local mountain bike trails and logging roads are fantastic if you want to see some wildlife while riding in the wilderness.
Come experience country luxury living in a beautiful camp in the heart of Moosehead Lake. You'll be amazed how at home you'll feel the moment you walk in the door.

Incredible house and wonderful owners.
This home was everything we could have wanted and the owners are incredibly kind and helpful. We loved everything about it.
Our experience at the North Haven was nothing short of awesome. Terri and Tone were great people. The house is like new, tastefully decorated, and with all the modern amenities. We traveled with 3 adults and 3 young boys for a white water rafting trip out of the Forks. The boys loved the huge yard and the river access was a great hit. The boys spent hours swimming and catching crawfish.
Wonderful cabin in a beautiful area
The cabin exceeded our expectations. It is absolutely stunning- with an impressive living room (including an incredible moose head on the wall) . While homey and comfortable, the cabin is also immaculately clean! A short walk across the road is the Moose River, and a short walk down the street is Maynards Camp and Restaurant. Terri greeted us warmly when we arrived and answered all of questions. I really can't say enough about how great the location and cabin are.
Beautiful, peaceful setting!
From the time of booking through our stay, I had great communication with Terri North. The cabin is beautifully and comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with mugs, glasses, plates and bowls, silverware and many kitchen appliances and gadgets to prepare anything you may want to prepare. I was also pleasantly surprised to find salt, pepper and some other basic spices in the cupboard (garlic, cinnamon, seasoning salt, etc,). Beautiful refrigerator, dishwasher, stove and washer and dryer. Thoroughly enjoyed the water filtration system as there was no need to purchase bottled water as we've done on many other vacations. Enjoyed climbing Mt. Kineo, touring the lake on a moose cruise, swimming in the river with easy access across the street, a couple trips into Greenville for shopping, crepes and ice creamEnjoyed every morning with coffee on the porch enjoying the view and every evening by the fire (great supply of wood provided) star gazing and roasting marshmallows. Terri gave us great tips for the area and also provided jumper cables when one of our cars wouldn't start. The most relaxing vacation! Hope to return in the next few tears!
