Private Luxurious Ridgetop Hideaway on 9 Acres! Between Bryce & Zion! Views! A\C
Come and stay at the Ridgetop Hideaway, an air conditioned 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 2050 sq. ft. mountain home with split open floor plan on 9 private acres with no neighbors. The house has 2 King master suites on the main floor and 1 King bedroom mother in law suite downstairs with bath, kitchenette & separate TV in the bright walk-out basement (your rental is for the entire house, including upstairs and downstairs). The property has fabulous views of Long Valley, the pink Paunsagaunt Cliffs, the surrounding mountains and Asay Creek, with opportunities to see local wildlife. The upstairs living room TV offers Netflix and Amazon Video streaming service (no broadcast, cable or satellite channels), as well as Pandora for music and ambiance.
The house has all new appliances, granite counter tops, blue pine custom cabinets, air conditioning, tile and bamboo floors with carpet in the bedrooms, a pellet stove in the great room, and lots of windows throughout the home to bring the outdoors in and a fully automatic coffee / espresso maker along with all you can drink free New Mexico coffee beans. Free wifi is available throughout the house.
Relax in lounge chairs on the 8 foot covered wrap-around deck with gas BBQ, enjoy the large ensuite bathrooms with state of the art walk-in showers, appreciate the convenience of a large 2 car garage (with brand new Ping Pong table!).
This beautiful new home is centrally located in the heart of ”Color Country” at approx. 7000 feet (its cooler at this elevation!) and surrounded by the Dixie National Forest. Bryce Canyon is about 30 minutes away and Zion National Park about 50 minutes thru breathtaking scenery.
Access to miles and miles of hiking and ATV trails, fly fishing plus stream & lake fishing on the Asay & Mammoth Creeks or nearby lakes are all yours to enjoy. Panguitch Lake, Aspen Mirror Lake, Navajo Lake, Cedar Breaks and Brian Head Resort & Duck Creek Village are each less than 45 minutes away.
We have a strict no-pet and no-smoking policy. The access road to the house is steep and unpaved. A normal passenger sedan is fine for accessing the property during the summer, however a 4-wheel drive vehicle is required for access during the winter. Access via motorcycle is not recommended during any season.
About our cleaning fee: you may wonder why our cleaning fee is so high. Due to the rural location of the property, there are few reliable professional cleaners available, so good cleaners are able to charge a premium. Many competing vacation rentals use spotty cleaners or family members to clean. We do not compromise on cleaning services because we want you to find the property spotless, just like you would expect at a high end resort. We also use only eco-friendly cleaning products and laundry detergents, so that the bathroom doesn't smell of bleach and guests with alergies can feel comfortable.

I was born in Germany, grew up in France and moved to Las Vegas in 2002. I enjoy the outdoors and all our great National Parks in the area. What makes this House unique
What makes this home unique is that it has all the modern upgrades: central heat and air, granite countertops, walk in tiles showers, Trex deck, metal roof etc, yet it is completely secluded, on top of a ridge without neighbors. It is the perfect place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city and resource oneself.

This place was a gem of a find! It was an absolute treat to stay in a place so comfortable, clean, beautifully maintained.. truly everything had been thought of. The bedrooms were cosy & warm, the bathrooms spotless. We cooked a full traditional Christmas meal & the kitchen was so well appointed it was a dream to prepare in. We loved the isolation, it felt like we had the whole mountain to ourselves, but Bryce & Zion were within such easy reach that we didn’t have to compromise & stay in a hotel room. The sunsets on the balcony with the fire pit blazing were an added extra! Thank you so much Jean for letting us stay in your beautiful Hideaway. We’ve recommended it to our family & friends as by far the best place to explore the parks of Utah from.
Thank you so much for sharing such heartfelt memories and experiences of your stay at Ridgetop with us. We are thrilled that you found dreamlike beauty in the house and landscape and were able to create many happy Christmas experiences while there. We appreciate you staying with us and certainly hope to work with some of your family and friends in the future!
All the best,

Beautiful setting and great property with fantastic views on all sides. Jean was a very responsive and helpful host. The house is so nice you almost hate to leave to go hiking!
Ridgetop Hideaway did not disappoint. It is spacious, has spectacular views, and provides just about every amenity needed for an enjoyable and comfortable family vacation. We especially enjoyed being close enough to both Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park to hike in the day and relax in comfort in the evenings. Stairs could be a problem for some, like those of us with sore muscles from hiking!
Lovely home with gorgeous view
Our party of 3 couples stayed here while we visited Bryce and Zion Parks.
This lovely home is very comfortable and the view from the top of the hill is gorgeous. The house was perfect in every way for time in Utah. Thank you!
Beautiful home, fantastic view
Great location to explore national parks. In Winter there are little to no services so plan ahead!
Beautiful home and location!
Our stay at the ridgetop hideaway was very pleasant. The king beds are comfortable and house is very beautiful with an amazing view! We never figured out where to drop the garbage so better instructions would be nice, but everything else was great.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! We are glad that you enjoyed your time at Ridgetop and were comfortable there. Also, we appreciated you letting us know about your difficulty finding the dumpster and have edited our directions in the manual so that it should be easier to find. Thank you again for your patronage and we wish you a beautiful rest of the holiday season.
All the best,
