Guestbook comments from the owner

Dear Penny & Mark,

A very enjoyable & relaxing stay - thank you! The lodge is both warm and

cosy and well equipped. It is an ideal base, as it is central to many

places of interest -

Both, coastal and inland and if you want to stay close, there are walks in

the forest. On arrival, we were met by Nita and Ken, who told us everything

we needed to know and then. you are in a secure, friendly community.left to

enjoy your stay .

Would come back again

Paul & Carol

Lovely comfortable & cosy base for discovering the area

  • 5 of 5

Had a great stay here - it is very cosy & warm (very frosty outside on some days) but very comfortable inside.

Very well equipped kitchen with everything you could need.

Comfy beds too.

Great base for exploring the area.

Will definitely book a visit again.

Lovely lodge

  • 5 of 5

Greeted by Nita & Ken, gave us all the info we needed re the lodge. The setting was great, close to everywhere that we needed during our stay. The lodge is very well equipped.......had everything you could need. Penny & Mark kept us informed about work on the site & how it might effect us......all finished on time so no problems. Would love to visit in the summer to make use of the pool! Communication was excellent, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the lodge & will definitely visit again. Certainly a home from home, fabulous. We had frosty mornings but the lodge is so cosy......

Thank you to Penny, Mark, Nita & Ken

Can't fault the Lodge.

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely lodge in a good place to get around from. The lodge has everything you could need and is clean and tidy, you can tell it is well looked after. We couldn't believe how warm it was when we returned in the evening as the heating hadn't been on, I even had to open a window on one occasion and it was quite chilly outside, wind and rain belting down. There is a nice pool about 20 yards away (we didn't get to use it as we were wet enough)

We hope to visit again as there is so much to do in the area.

Exactly what you'd expect from a holiday cottage!

  • 5 of 5

The holiday chalet was great, plenty of space (especially with having 2 older children), was clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. The location was very quiet in a private estate and the heated swimming pool was a massive hit. The location was great for access to Bournemouth and the sea as well as the new forest and all the activities that had to offer.

We would thoroughly recommend this property as the owners and the couple who look after it couldn't do enough to make the stay as easy as possible.

Thank you for a great week!
