Remember this is not a sparsely decorated rental. Its our family vacation home. The subdivision Portal IV is a noise sensitive neighborhood. Loud music/parties can be heard across the mountains and valleys. This is a great place for a quiet retreat or small get together. But please be very considerate of our neighbors who ask as hosts that we ensure our guests to refrain from loud music/parties that disrupt the community. Also, please note that our streets are ONE-WAY streets. Please observe the ONE-WAY traffic flow signs for your safety and the safety of others. If we as owners receive a complaint, we will unfortunately have to ask you to leave immediately without a refund. Yes, that is how private this community is :-)

Our Cabin in Pine has great views of the Mogollon Rim, we sit at 5,681' above sea level. We'd love to share it with you !

My husband and I had a beautiful time on the deck, amazed at the gorgeous 180 plus views. Pine is a cute community with very good eats = Mi Familia, Pine Creek Fudge/Ice Cream and The Old County Inn. Don't get to Pine and skip Tonto Bridge!! It is magical and breath taking - pack a picnic to eat in their lovely grassy park. Julia is a super star to work with and the cabin rates A+, well stocked along with very clean!! We will be back!!!! Thank you Julia, we feel so lucky you make this slice of heaven available for others to enjoy.

Owner's Response: Guests like these may our hearts smile. Thank you! I would add to include "That Brewery" to the Good Eats places to go. The Old Country Inn has woodfired pizza which is simply to die for. That Brewery is pet friendly and has amazing fish and rib fry's on Fridays. Tonto National Bridge is a must. For those spunky, hiking folks, the natural hot springs and lagoon at Fossil Creek is a rated #1 . Excellent swimming lagoon but it's a hike. Today, you can drive within 3 miles. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/arizona/fossil-springs-trail Another must is the Ranch at Fossil Creek and Fossil Creek Creamery www.ranchatfossilcreek.com. Goat Milk Fudge, Goat Milk Soap and Lotion, Goat Milk Cheese . A delightful farm that sells its products to the top Hotels. This is a MUST for kids who can milk the goats - and for fudge foodies and ladies like me that love goat milk soap, lotion - anything !

Beautifully relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

Julia was a beyond gracious and generous host! The home had plenty of amenities, everything you could need you had available. The pantry was stocked with essentials, the kitchen had all necessary appliances and utensils. The view from the kitchen was amazing and made doing dishes enjoyable. The home was clean, inviting and had gorgeous sunlight streaming in. The kids had plenty to do with the games consoles, board games and bicycles. We enjoyed winding down in the hot tub and star gazing at the end of each day.

Had fun visiting the antique shops and restaurants in Pine. Our goal to relax and de-stress was accomplished. Julia was a pleasure to work with and the cabin rates A+, very clean and well stocked.
