Second year renting here. Great house!
Awesome house for large groups, a lot of room.
Thank you guys so much!!! Hope to see you guys next year!!!
Perfect spot on Togus Pond!
We spent a delightful 3 days in September in this house. Having stayed in many camps and cottages in the area, I can attest that this house puts a new spin on a lake cottage. It is more like someone's second home that they are letting us use. There was great attention to detail when they renovated this house. From leather living room furniture to high-end kitchen appliances to a delightful screened in porch, a porch that was not screened in, a fire pit, high-quality gas grill--this house has it all. Oh, and did I mention the loons? We did not see them but could hear them calling from the porch and bedroom. The house is on a quiet cove that would keep swimmers and kayakers away from the heavy boat traffic. The weather was not the best while we were there, so we were unable to take advantage of the kayaks and canoe that come with the property. This house is bookmarked for our future visits to the Augusta/Waterville area.
Thank you so much for the kind words. You will always be welcome back to the house!!
Enjoy the rest of 2017!!

All in the Family
We, had a great time, the house was very spacious and well kept. House sits in a quiet little cove so absolutely no boat traffic. Fishing was great, we stayed 2 weeks and between me and my 2 adult sons we caught to many fish to count. Good lake to kayak/canoe, not a high use lake. Although you are in Augusta you are just far enough away to feel like your out in the country (which you are) but close enough to take a ten minute ride to great restaurants and other attractions of the Capital Area.
It wan absolute pleasure having your family stay at the house. Thank you so much for the kind words and come back anytime.

This home was extremely well supplied. The space was wonderful. We had 8 adults and 2 toddlers. The lake is beautiful and quiet. Fishing was also very good, especially considering the warm weather. If I have any criticism of the accomodations, it is that the waterfront area is very rocky and somewhat difficult for swimming. However, overall, this is a wonderful comfortable home. Thank you to the owner,
Thank you for the kind words. We're so happy you guys enjoyed the house.
Just to help clarify for future guests that will be looking at this and want to swim during their stay. The dock at the property extends to the end of the rocks making it perfect to jump right off the end into the water or to enter off of the swimming ladder that's built in.
The water is varying depth off of the dock up to about 12 feet so we always recommend putting small children in a life jacket or swimmies. Our children have always entered right of the ladder with their swimmies on.
We will always have some life jackets with the canoes and kayaks in the garage for guest use.
I just wouldn't want anyone to miss out on the swimming because Togus is so clean because of how well cared for it is by the residents. If anyone has any specific questions regarding the swimming you can contact us directly through VRBO.

Third family stay and each time better than the last (although hard to believe it could get any better!). Plenty of space, well cared for. Water refreshing. Close to everything, yet totally secluded. Coming back in September!
Thank you guys so much!! We love having you stay!!
Fabulous dining, events like the Winsor Fair, leaf peeping. Many local brewery's in the area. Portland is an hours drive but well worth the trip.
