This apartment is fully furnished and comfortable and homely. Situated in a lovely public garden square which is away from it all and very quiet. Also, located in Central Brighton so near to all facilities and the train station. The owners are local and available to help.. This flat is ideal as a quiet holiday or short term study/working home. Miximum guests are either 3 adults or a family of 4. Children over age 5. Small or companion pets also considered.

Parking: Parking is notorious in Brighton so you would need to book a pass with the NCP or Local Council. If you do not require the car during the week then you can park up Dyke Road where it starts to be free after the Tesco Metro/petrol station. It is a 25 minute walk / 5 minute bus journey from there back to the apartment.

Smoking: This is strictly prohibited. There is a balcony available for you to use. Please make sure you dispose of all cigarette butts and ash after use.

We must know in advance for both of these particular guests. The area is hilly and the apartment is on the 2nd floor with 2 flights of stairs so may not be suitable for guests with mobility problems. Smoking is prohibited. There is an automatic charge of £25 if this is discovered.

Nettes Appartment für bis zu 4 Personen und Hund

Wir waren zu zweit mit unserem Hund hier. Alles sehr nett, ok gepflegt, zum Teil nicht sehr modern, aber für einen kurzen Städtetrip ideal. Ganz übel ist die Parkplatzsituaion, aber das ist in ganz Brighton (und England) so. Netter Vermieter, komplikationslose Abwicklung.

Brighton Belle

If you don't mind going up the stairs to the second floor you'll find a comfortable flat in a quiet, elegant regency square. It also has a nice sunny balcony on which to enjoy a glass or a meal and take in the views over Brighton. Quiet, but close to all the places you'll want to go and no shortage of shops and restaurants nearby.

Owner's Response: The main benefit of this location is how quiet and peaceful it is set in a lovely garden square. It is set on a high plateau in Brighton where the roads can be steep and hilly and for that I do not recommend it to people with mobility problems. For others it will strengthen your legs and lungs and should not be too arduous.

Location, location, location

This was a lovely, neat, clean, well-planed flat! We felt very welcome and got good information about everything from hot water to places to see in Brighton. The best part of the apartment was probably the location. Could probably not get closer to the water, the town center or the train station (about 15 minute walk everywhere) not with the quietness of powis square anyway! I would really recommend this holiday home to anyone!

Good basic flat in Brighton

About a 10 minutes stroll from the train station, I found this flat to be ideal for my purposes. It was close to shopping and restaurants, but in a quiet neighborhood, so there wasn't any late night rowdiness on the streets. Very clean and tidy, view of lovely square in the front, and nice balcony with a sea view in the back. All in all, an excellent value.

very nice place to be

We stayed there for 3 weeks in september 2010 , it is a very nice flat, quiet and central.

It looks like on the pictures, clean and modern. The owner is very friendly.

We would like to stay there a second time.

The apartment is located in Central Brighton on a high plateau with views of the Sea. It is a short walk from the main Train Station or a 3 minute taxi ride. There are plenty of shops and restaurants for you to visit locally. It is a 15 minute walk from the Pier and the famous shopping Lanes and the Theatres and other centres of entertainment.
