There's nothing close to this calliber of individualized hospitality in the area. Along with the setting of one of the most historic homes in the city, the private pool, and proximity to the daily downtown activities and sights, the Royal Elizabeth serves as a great jump off point for Tucson culture!
A rare example of a San Fransisco Victorian interior meeting a Spanish colonial-style Adobe foundation, The Royal Elizabeth served as a post Cival War home for 4 generations before opening to the public as a Bed and Breakfast in 1999. Many guests who stay don't even need a car (although we have free parking) as there is so much to do within walking distance!
Located right in Downtown Tucson and walking distance to the street car and many of the city's finest restaurants, museums, art galleries, theaters, and shopping. Only 1.5 miles from the University of Arizona campus, making it a perfect yet tranquil stay for visiting parents and faculty. Only half a mile from the major interstate highways for easy accessibility. We welcome guests staying in Tucson for its many annual events such as the largest international Gem & Mineral Show, El Tour de Tucson, U of A Parents Weekend and student graduation, the 4 Avenue Street Fairs, and much more!
