In addition to being a winter sports destination, Tahoe City is happening all seasons of the year, with free movies and concerts on the beach, Thursday Farmer's Market, Truckee River rafting, hiking, mountain biking, galleries, shopping, excellent dining, and nightlife.

Of course the wider area includes Kings Beach's sandy beach and quaint town, Crystal Bay's casinos and nightlife, Carnelian Bay's paddleboarding and watersports, Northstar's ice skating and skiing, Squaw's Village events and skiing, and Truckee's colorful history and vibrant town.

the townhouse was just precious-had all the amenities needed--the beds were very comfortable-we really enjoyed our time and hope to come back next year-we are 2 seniors -73 and 82 -so can't guarantee that we can-but it is on the bucket list-thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Great overall, could improve a little.

  • 4 of 5

Great location, really nice house. The upper bedroom tends to get really hot during the day, though gets a little better towards the middle of the night. Don't count on naps up there. Tried to reached the property manager on the phone, left a message, but didn't hear back from him the entire weekend... overall we had a great experience, could always improve though.

Cute but not ideal in

  • 2 of 5

Upstairs loft bedroom too stuffy and no cross ventilation. 20 degrees hotter upstairs than main floor. Be aware of non stop road noise as the condo sits by the main road around the lake.

Cute cabin in a great location

  • 4 of 5

What a cute cabin and the location was perfect. 20 min from Squaw. Only 4 stars BC the upstairs bed is quite hard & the room doesn't have the best airflow.

The location is great, not far from town and the beach. We enjoyed our stay and the check in process was fabulous.

Great location

  • 4 of 5

Cute cabin, great location! Lake was super close, bike trail across the street & free shuttle to Tahoe city was a quick walk. Squaw Valley was about 20 min drive. Mattress on top floor was very hard, bring a body pillow. Also, air circulation upstairs was stuffy even w/ the fan going. Overall the cabin was charming and I would stay here again.
