We were in Tahoe for my son's lacrosse tournament at North Tahoe High School and wanted a location close enough to easily drive back and forth for the many games.
Great little condo in a very convenient location to Tahoe City and other North Shore areas. Hot tub and pool were very nice also!
The condo has nice use of space for its size and cute Tahoe decor. The bedding is not good. The sheets are cheap and don't match and the bed spread smells strongly of mens Cologne. The couches and carpet have stains on them. The location is next to the main road, noise when on deck or door open. There is TV with Roku but no live TV so if want current news etc. You will need your I-Pad and the master bedroom TV doesn't work.
When in Tahoe its always pleasant so the location great.
Lovely small home base in the Tahoe City area.
We had a wonderful time here. The kitchen is tiny (if you're planning to have more than one preparing food), and there is only one shower (although if you're up for it, you can shower two at a time, as it has two shower heads) but that didn't bother us a bit. The place is very charming and well taken care of. You'll notice the attention to detail with outlets with USB charging built-in, keycode entry (no hassle picking up and dropping off keys!), the presence of a hair dryer, and tasteful decor making it feel very cozy. You should know the bunk bed is a twin underneath and a single on top, but we made it work for two adults and two small kids. A few of the reviews here mentioned the place not being clean, but we had no such issues. It was all clean and in good working order with plenty of hotel-size soap bars in every bathroom. I'm not sure if there were enough towels for the six people that were in our party because I noticed only two hanging in the bathroom, but they might very well have been tucked in a closet somewhere. I didn't look for them as we had brought our own out of habit. We'd love to come back. It's well located at a few minutes from downtown Tahoe City, and just 20 minutes to he lifts at Squaw, and even less to Alpine Meadows. In fact, I'd buy this place if it were for sale.
