We are also walking distance to a public golf course, a heritage park, and a recreation centre. There is excellent public bus services to and from the University and Downtown. It's also a great location to start your tour of Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, Washington State, Seattle, or Vancouver.

I really enjoy the peace and quiet of the area, traffic is local, south facing private back yard, huge trees provide privacy, well established neighborhood, centrally located, convenient, love the warm spacious rooms of the house. Love the private Hydrotherapy tub and Wet Steam room, especially on a cold or wet day/night.
Location is excellent, it is so convenient to everywhere in Victoria, your only 8 mins from DT, Shopping, U-Vic easy access to Airport, Main Land Ferries and Seattle, USA. Up Island highway, yet the propertt has big trees. Well established Neighborhood, Heritage Park and Dead End Street, great location to walking trails.
The suite was clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time out exploring Victoria, so we weren't at the suite a whole lot. However, it was very nice to come home to collapse into such a comfortable bed.
My only heads up is that it is at the end of a longer driveway that is gated with a beware of dog sign. This would not be an issue for anyone arriving at a decent time, but we were very late (11:30), it was dark, and the sign threw me. This of course does not affect my rating, and we did get in alright, it just may be helpful information for anyone else who finds themselves arriving in the dark.
This is a great location and the garden suite is immaculate, quiet and "authentically Victoria". Management is smart and friendly.
this place is absolutely gorgeous, very clean, and close to everything. Put it this way: I approve my mother staying here; she would definitely approve. Paul, the owner, made sure we had our privacy and was on top of everything! Will,stay here again if available.

This home was lovely, clean and cozy. It had a homey feeling. The towels were so fluffy and the beds so comfy. It felt like we never left home. It was centrally located. Easy access to the major highways and close to a shopping mall. We were able to do our own cooking and had access to a barbecue. We had a nice little outside patio to mingle around. I would definitely recommend this place for the value.
Judge Place House is situated within a protected Gary Oak Forest, yet it lies within the city, everything within the city is approx. 15 mins traveling time.
