Nice short walk to the beach with kids in tow! Was a bit of a dampness that is typical for a beach house and a bit of a bug issue likely from a door being left open from the previous renters during packing. All in all it was nice and convent to everything we needed and had a large living area for everyone to gather.

Decent location, awkward layout
We began our vacation in this home the week that Florence was coming in so we did not get to stay the whole week, but the community is nice and quiet with a short walk to the beach. The whole house was damp and musty but it was very bad on the bottom floor where the game room is. All of the furniture was wet to the feel and anything we left down there became damp and musty, we did not use that room due to that. All of the HVAC vents and returns were coated with dust. We only used the one bathroom on the top floor but the shower curtain liner had mildew as did the bottom of the tub. There was trash under the couches when we got there and the entertainment center was a mess. The corner where they keep a few kids toys had not been vacuumed under in quite some time. The middle floor where most of the bedrooms are has a very awkward layout; bathrooms into bedrooms into a tub that has a room of it's own. The pool area was nice to have but several broken plastic chairs were there and some broken toys. All of the carpets have stains and worn spots. Every single blanket had some sort of stain on it. We had no information left about the trash collection days, WiFi password or the required parking permit for parking access at the beach. On check in day we did not get our key code until we called the office at 5 p.m. I had to call the realty agency several times to get various information, they were polite and helpful when I did call but I wish we would have had all of the things we needed before hand. The realty agency was helpful when giving information about the evacuation and travel insurance documents. Not a terrible experience but the house could use a serious deep cleaning and a bit of updating.
Out Dated, needs overall updates
House needs upgraded. Poor bed quality. Pool was not properly secured for small children.

We will also be having them check the quality of bedding and replace as necessary for the 2019 season. As per the pool, I see that the gate locks were replaced during your stay, so I hope that remedied any issues of concern during your vacation. House not as cleaned as I would have wanted.
We did like the combination lock and not dealing with a key to enter the house.
The garbage/recycle cans need to be sanitized...gross!
It was nice for our grandkids to have so many toys at the house to enjoy.
Some of the chairs at the table need to be glued. The legs were wobbly.
All in all we enjoyed our stay because our entire family was together!

We have forwarded your input to our maintenance team, so they will be heading over to test any issues with wobbly furniture, securing/tightening as necessary. While maintenance is at the home, we will also have them look at the outside trash and recycling receptacles and have them washed out. Dirty to the point we cleaned it our self broken lawn chairs grass growing on pool deck
Arrived at 5pm with 4 families to face a filthy house 1 roll toilet paper 2 towels and no bed linens no help from your staff had to face 2 hours of traffic to buy linens and toilet paper change your name from cove to cave never again 1 star is too much for you
We strive our best to make every stay as pleasant as possible, where we will do anything in our power to remedy any situations that arise, so it's definitely saddening when such negative feedback is left on a rental home that we care for. Per the linens and toiletries, yes, these items are not supplied, where the single toilet paper and paper towel rolls are part of the check-in package to get you started on your vacation. We express that the linen package is an extra add-on in the listing as well as in our contract, where we even follow-up with a phone call to each guest, so to make sure that the linen package option is understood. However, it's understandable that this option can still be missed from time to time, and when you initially called after your check-in to express your concern about the linens, our reservationist informed you that linens could be delivered to the rental home by the end of the day, which you declined. As per the cleaning, a cleaner was sent back to the home upon your check-in, and a refund of $125 was given to you, due to your un-happiness with the initial clean.
Again, we're sorry that you felt we could not tend to your needs during your stay, but we do hope that you were able to enjoy your vacation in this rental home.
Okay property with good location.
House was okay and relatively clean. Found stain behind furniture on carpet in reading loft area. It was only issue with cleaning. The other problems were issues with wear and tear: screen in door of screened porch was flapping, water leaking under first floor toilet causing buckling of lineoleum, blinds broken in master bathroom, and water damage by side door.
Thank you for your feedback on this rental home. After looking through the reservation, I'm glad to see that our maintenance team was able to remove the stain when it was reported. And thank you for letting us know about the other items, as I'll be forwarding the remainder of your comments to our maintenance department so each item can be immediately inspected and remedied.
