About Fainas-Martin Karin
I will be very happy to receive you in my home and show you around the convenient areas. My family and I are living very close by. Because as you I love Paris and its history, I still discover the city and its architecture with my children.
Fainas-Martin Karin purchased this Condo in 2012
Why Fainas-Martin Karin chose Ternes
Completely new, redone in May 2012, in white well located, close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysees. Convenient stores are all around (food market, grocery stores and pharmacy) and restaurants with typical and also sophisticated French food. Line 1 direct to the Louvre, Marais and Bastille. All Paris to see staying from a very quiet place with a very parisian view.
What makes this Condo unique
You will love to try the best bakery in town not only famous for its baguette and croissant, also the good French food to eat or drink a good French wine . You will try the French art of living. You will get a list of the places I love, to be sure to have a very pleasant stay in my place!

This is a nice, quaint apartment in a great location! Well maintained and had everything we needed. Short walk to major metro station (Charles de Gaulle Étoile). Walkable (or train ride) to many major locations including Tour Effiel, Arc de Triomphe, Musée du Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Champs-Élysées shopping. Karin provided a notebook with some great neighborhood food recommendations. Recommend a visitor transit pass (Navigo Découverte), which is a one-time fee for unlimited access to public transit.
Very nice and convenient apartment. Karin responded quickly and was very helpful.
Great place, clean, good location, highly recommend
Karin's place was very clean, was in a great location close to the metro and the Arc de Triomph. Karin was very kind, she met us in the apartment and was very gracious, even though we were much later than we had planned. Great places to eat nearby, if you stay here, you have to go to Passion Forrest bakery just around the corner! We loved the apartment, highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Paris.
we really loved our place: it was clean, slick, modern design, comfortable beds,we had everything we needed in a kitchen and bathroom; most important - it was quiet as windows overlooking green courtyard. the perfect location made this place even more attractive. unfortunately, we didn't meet our host because of some important circumstances, but she provided all help we needed and was always in touch with us. thank you, Karin!

Great place! Highly recommended!
Calm, quiet location, clean, modern, totally renovated. We were a family of 4 (kids ages 12 and 15) and, although it was a bit cramped, it worked out perfectly. Had we reserved a hotel for 4, we probably would have had less space. The couch bed was actually super comfortable. Maneuvering the suitcases was interesting...but it worked out fine. Highly recommended. Located between 3 subway stations and (practically) at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe. Awesome!
This place is the GREATEST!!!
Karin's apartment was recommended by a friend who has stayed there multiple times. I was a little hesitant because it was fifty years since I was in Paris and treated as the Ugly American. We couldn't have been happier!!!
We went for five nights prior to a Seine River cruise this May. From the minute we got off the Airport Bus and walked down Carnot Street to Rue des Acacias, people were helpful and friendly. Karin's studio is a little piece of paradise! It was my husband and I and our niece and there was plenty of room. It is bright, neat, and clean. The beds were ultra comfortable. Her kitchen had everything you could possibly need. She even has a washer/dryer. Her drawers have maps and brochures on all the local attractions. We had wifi to stay connected to family back home, but the biggest plus is that we felt totally safe there. My husband was able to walk around the corner to Paul's Bakery for my croissant every morning. Monoprix is also there on Ternes Avenue, along with multiple restaurants in the area. We walked up to the Arc d'Triomphe to catch the Big Red Hop On/Hop Off Bus the first day to get a lay of the land. We also took the River Seine boatride. Another day, we walked down to the Trocadero and over to climb the Eiffel Tower. After the terrorism attacks, tourism is down and there were no lines. My husband and niece walked every morning - all the way down the Champs-Elysees to Place de la Concorde, over to the Grand Palais, back to Trocadero. We also took the subway over to Notre Dame - very easy to get around and it puts our New York subway system to shame.
I can't thank Karin enough for her hospitality. We have already booked to go back this June! We would HIGHLY recommend this apartment for anyone wishing to stay a few days or longer in Paris!!
