This contemporary and stylish Lisbon apartment is located in atmospheric Alfama. It has one bedroom but can sleep up to 4 people. The bright and airy flat is located in an area of listed buildings, under monumental protection, yet is packed with both original and modern features - superb, fully - integrated kitchen, wooden floors and exposed original brickwork.

However it is the spectacular roof terrace that will truly take your breath away. Imagine alfresco breakfasts under the sunshine, dinner beneath the moonlight, or simply relaxing after a hard day's sightseeing with wonderful views of Alfama and the river beyond.

Very charming apartment!

We had a wonderful time during Xmas and New Year in this perfectly equipped apartment. Its located in the middle of Alfama and within walking distance to many of the most famous tourist attractions in Lisbon. Our day started at the bakery next door and for lunch there are many cosy restaurants nearby. We ended the day with a glas of wine on the terrace overlooking the river frontline. I really hope we will be back soon!

Good location beautiful view from terrace

We arrived very late but Marta and Sophia were very kind and patient.The place is cute and good location in the Alfama area close to good and reasonable restaurants with fado singers the metro is also close by,the stairs to get to the apt.are very tiny and are hard to get your luggage up and down but once your there the view from the terrace are great.

Great location in old city

We enjoyed our stay in Alfama apartment! Location is great if you want to stay in the old city and you want the hustle and bustle, and noise that this type of location brings. We would recommend this apartment for adults or a family with older children who can handle very steep stairs and open balconies. The apartment is on the top floor (3 sets of stairs) which affords wonderful views of the city and the river but also requires the stamina to get up to and down from the apartment carrying luggage. Metro, buses, and taxi options are close as well as shops, markets, and food. Great exploring to be had just in this location, let alone the rest of Lisbon!

Incantevole Lisbona

L' appartamento è un po più piccolo di come me lo aspettavo. Ottima la posizione per visitare Lisbona a 10 minuti a piedi dalla fermata metro di Santa Apolonia . Marta è stata molto disponibile e gentile con noi. L' appartamento avrebbe solo bisogno di alcuni lavoretti di manutenzione per rendere il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Le scale per accedervi solo davvero faticose dopo un' intera giornata a visitare Lisbona.

Erlebe das alte ursprüngliche Lissabon in Alfama

Eine wunderbare Sache für Urlauber, die nach dem ursprünglichen Lissabon suchen und keine Fußwege mit teilweise steilen Aufstiegen durch enge Gassen scheuen. Alles entsprach genau der Beschreibung: ein sehr schönes kleines Apartment mit Maisonette-Charakter und kleiner Dachterrasse mit einem sehr schönen Ausblick. Vollausgestattete Küche, die zum Selberkochen einlädt. Bequemes Bett, genug Stauraum. Man sollte aber tatsächlich keine körperlichen Gebrechen haben, da sowohl die Treppe im Hausflur, als auch in der Wohnung sehr eng und steil sind. Sperriges Gepäck wird ebenfalls zum Problem. Die Hausbewohner sind sehr herzlich, sprechen aber nur portugiesisch. Ein Kontakt ist trotzdem möglich und zu empfehlen. Die nähere Umgebung ist geprägt durch das Leben in dem ehemaligen Arbeiterviertel und vielen Restaurants, die einem auf der Dachterrasse die musikalische Unterhaltung kostenlos liefert - auch bis in die Nacht. Im Haus nebenan ist eine sehr gute kleine Bäckerei, in der man ein traditionelles Frühstück bekommt, um es auf der Dachterrasse zu sich zu nehmen. Die anderen Stadtteile sind fußläufig erreichbar für geübte Läufer, ansonsten sind der nächste Bahnhof und die Metro in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Dort ist auch ein Supermarkt, der täglich geöffnet hat. Pedro ist ein sehr netter und wirklich hilfsbereiter Vermieter, pünktlich und zuverlässig. Der Kontakt per Handy, E-Mail oder SMS klappt problemlos. Vielen Dank für alles Pedro.

Beautiful location!

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment And we loved Lisbon. The alfama district has a lot of character, And so has the apartment! Lots of restaurants and little shops nearby. It is a bit of a struggle to climb the 3 stairs to the apartment, but it is worth it. We loved the terrace And our 16-year old Son loved the WiFi! So everybody was happy.

Pedro was a great host, we could bring our luggage earlier because the apartment was already free on the day of our arrival. That was really kind of him.

Pedro, however we would recommend to make a fence/low wall at the footend of the bed upstairs. The first night it was a bit scary to sleep there. So we would not recommend it to people who sleepwalk or to people with small children. Everything else about the apartment was great! We hope to come back!

Things to visit/do when you are in Lisbon: parc de nacoes (cablecart), Sintra, Cascais, Belem And of course the city centre.

The apartment is located in Alfama, one of Lisbon's most historic, traditional and atmospheric areas. A 'village within a city', Alfama lives and breathes charming and timeless Lisbon, having survived the 1755 earthquake fully intact. It's maze of medieval alleys, winding narrow streets, churches, tiny squares and majestic viewpoints captivate and astound in equal measure.

Yet, Alfama has all this and more. The apartment is within walking distance of riverfront walks, the castle and cathedral, train and metro stations and the enchanting tram 28. Can it get any better? Well, yes actually! Lisbon's most famous nightclub is 5 minutes walk away, as are some of the best viewpoints, Fado clubs/restaurants, ferry terminal and the downtown area is a mere 10 minute walk away. Alfama - the perfect place to stay.
