Amazing location and so comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We lived staying at Jackie's apartment in Annapolis. We were there for I-day and the location was perfect. It is less than a mile from the USNA gates and a 30 walk from the water. The bed was incredibly comfortable and my son loved the roll away bed. Having access to a kitchen and washer and dryer made life incredibly convenient. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to the USNA.

Commissioning Week fun

  • 5 of 5

The listing description, pictures, and reviews are very accurate. 4 adults comfortably stayed here all week. We used the kitchen for full cooking and baking. Modern washer/dryer- great. Shower/bathroom good w/ plenty of hot water. Heating/AC units work wonderfully-and we needed both that week! The living room is very large and sits 5 adults comfortably with room for more. The bedroom is large with a very comfortable bed and the pull out sofa bed and cot were surprising comfortable for adults to sleep in all week too. Parking was not an issue at all with purchasing a very inexpensive temporary residential parking pass for the week ($21.00). It was worth it for us so we didn't have to worry about moving the car or walking a little further to/from the parking garage. The apartment is easy walking distance to all the shops&restaurants in DTA, USNA, and the football stadium. Didn't mind the stairs & the double railing was helpful for my older folks to get up/down them. Owner is easy to reach and very helpful. This was our second time staying at this location; having stayed at both apartments, we highly recommend either and will definitely return.

Location, Location, Location!!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was perfect for our Parent's weekend at the Naval Academy and we will most likely stay again for Commissioning week in a couple of years. Loved that it was within walking distance to Main Street and the Naval Academy. We really only used the car to take our God Daughter shopping and for the football game. Everything else is right there. Parking really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be - we parked on the street most of the time with no problems. The bed was really comfortable and the AC units keep the place nice and cool. The full kitchen with washer and dryer would be great if we actually used it. But we only used the coffee pot as there are so many places to eat and drink on Main Street. Great neighborhood and great place to stay. I would definitely recommend for a party of 3 or less and for those who don't have problems with stairs. Oh and the wi-fi signal is nice and strong!

Owner's Response: Thank-you for the very nice review. You touched on many of the features that make our apartment and its location so nice!! People worry about the parking often, but guests have parking options. You can choose to park in the residential parking areas, or use a close by parking garage. I have info on all options when people inquire about the apartment. Regarding how many people this apartment will hold comfortably; there is a queen sized bed in the bedroom( and you are right, it is really comfortable!), and a queen sized sleep sofa in the living room. We are upgrading the sleeper sofa in the next month with a new sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress(it's on order). In addition, there is a fold up cot. I would say that (4) adults(who know each other well) can stay comfortably, and then maybe a child for the cot. It really depends on how cozy guests want to be :-) There are plenty of sheets, blankets, towels, and kitchen things for (5). If you are interested in Commissioning week 2017 I would recommend reserving it as soon as possible. We are usually booked for commissioning week 2 years prior. We look forward to having you stay with us again soon!
