This apartment is perfectly located in a lovely quiet neighborhood. It has been renovated to be an upscale accommodation, and is comfortable enough for a family.
Within walking distance to everything Annapolis, Old building charm with new renovations. Lovely park 1/2 block away with water access. Newly landscaped backyard with seating/table. Quiet residential neighborhood.
Clean, great location, everything you need for a great weekend. I would definitely stay again
Great location clean and well maintained will definitely be back..
The apartment was perfect for our Parent's weekend at the Naval Academy and we will most likely stay again for Commissioning week in a couple of years. Loved that it was within walking distance to Main Street and the Naval Academy. We really only used the car to take our God Daughter shopping and for the football game. Everything else is right there. Parking really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be - we parked on the street most of the time with no problems. The bed was really comfortable and the AC units keep the place nice and cool. The full kitchen with washer and dryer would be great if we actually used it. But we only used the coffee pot as there are so many places to eat and drink on Main Street. Great neighborhood and great place to stay. I would definitely recommend for a party of 3 or less and for those who don't have problems with stairs. Oh and the wi-fi signal is nice and strong!
We just returned from a trip to Annapolis to visit our son during Plebe Parent's Weekend for United States Naval Academy Class of 2019 and this apartment was perfect for what we needed during our 3 day stay! It was my husband and me plus our 16 year old son. The apartment was bigger than I expected with a nice sized bedroom, large living area where the sofa bed was located, a small but well appointed kitchen and a nicely renovated bathroom with full sized tub and shower. There was also a rollaway bed available. It was beautifully decorated and had plenty of towels, extra blankets, pillows, etc. We did not really use the kitchen but it included a full sized fridge, dishwasher, small appliances, etc. and plenty of dishes if you wanted to prepare a few meals. We had plenty of room for the 3 of us for sleeping at night and for all 4 of us to relax and visit during the days when our Midshipman was with us. It really felt more like we were staying at the place of a friend instead of a rental property. There were tissues, paper towels, TP, hand and dish soap and even laundry detergent available for the W&D that is in the kitchen closet which in most rental properties you would have to provide for yourselves. That was very handy especially since we arrived late at night before the chance to go to the store. There were 3 separate room A/C units which worked very well. The wifi was fast and reliable. The location is just a 5 minute walk from all the action on Main Street and about 15-20 minutes to Gate 1 or 3 of USNA but on a lovely, quiet residential street. There is a nice park and water access right at the end of the street and a small public parking lot 1/2 block away. Between the lot and street parking during the weekend, parking was not a problem. This was our first chance to see and talk to our son for 6 weeks so we spent a lot of our time just hanging out in the apartment and it was so much more comfortable that a downtown hotel and yet no more expensive. We are already planning our next trip to visit and would definitely like to stay here again if it is available. Just for reference, this is an upstairs apartment with steep stairs typical of older buildings so that would be a consideration for people who might have trouble with those. The owners were so very prompt with the reservation and every questions we had. Overall, a great property and experience!
I used VRBO for the first time and stayed at this apartment in Annapolis for the weekend. I found it on the VRBO website and booked based on the posted reviews and from the email contact I had with the owner. First off, the owner is very easy to work with and very responsive to questions. The property was perfect for my stay in Annapolis. Everything was as advertised. I will be staying here again on my next trip.
I stayed there with my three kids and it worked great. Only a short walk to downtown Annapolis and thankfully the A/C worked wonderfully. (I'm not a fan of the humid weather..) We didn't have a car to park since Uber was available in the area which worked out well.
