We absolutely loved it. Compared to the other Vista condos that we've stayed: 1) Nice choice of furniture and appliances. Leather coaches and comfortable beds were really nice. The kitchen was nicely upgraded - great job on the remodel and granite counters. Great TV - loved that I could hook up to Netflix. 2) Location. This is the first time we rented a bottom unit and having kids, that was real nice. Good sun exposure but not too hot and you are also shielded from the stiff afternoon winds when lounging on the lanai. We looked at a couple of units for sale but would prefer yours. Not joking, we like the 2.5 bath floor plan and prefer the front of the complex instead of on the golf course. We would definitely stay in your unit again.

Ideal for your perfect Hawaiian getaway!!!

The property will now be part of our family's annual Big Island Getaway for years to come!!! This is my favorite place to stay of all my Hawaiian vacations.

In order to best describe this property I would need a word that means better than perfect. It is beautifully decorated, the layout is ideal for a family (very comfortable and inviting), the convenience to the beach, pool, & shops is unbeatable. This property has a fabulous lanai that feels like your own private backyard where children can play or a morning workout can be done. Its hard to say which is better; morning coffee while watching the palms sway as rays of sunshine warm your skin or the calmness of the afternoon as you can comfortably people watch the passerbys after a dip in the pool. ABay & the historic pools are right across the street as well very close proximity to the Queen's Marketplace; a perfect way to start your morning off with a walk to the marketplace for breakfast. Waikoloa is the perfect place to stay on the Big Island! It's close to the best beaches on the Big Island, close to the pastures of Waimea, and 15 minutes from the airport.

You will surely love this beautiful property! Let me not forget to mention how wonderful the owners are, they are so sweet to ensure that your stay is the very best it could be! Thank you for an amazing place to stay for our family while we enjoy the Aloha life!!!

We rented this condo for two weeks around thanksgiving. The price and location of the complex helped us make our decision, along with the peek a boo ocean views. What we didn't realize, and what the condo description fails to mention is that the condo overlooks a 3 way stop and the Hilton parking lot. Unless you like the sound of traffic and big trucks headed to the Hilton and other parts of waikoloa early in the morning (all day traffic really) we couldn't sleep with the doors or windows open. Not much privacy from the street if you are sitting on the lanai. If you positioned yourself just right you could stare at the ocean, while listening to the traffic go by. The master bedroom has a small TV you can't really see if you are laying in bed and the shower in the master bedroom wasn't usable. The water pressure was so strong it felt like you were being pelted with tiny pebbles. We mainly used the guest bath which is small but the shower was usable. The guest bedroom does not have a ceiling fan so we had to sleep with the air conditioner on. The air conditioner unit is inside the closet across the hall from the guest bedroom. When the air sucks in it also sucks the sliding door in and out causing a constant banging sound. The washer and dryer are front loading units and the doors remain closed between renters causing mold inside both units. The kitchen is not well stocked compared to other places we've stayed. If you plan to use the couch bed, don't. The mattress is old and the property managers tried to hide that fact by padding it with extra blankets and sheets. We only found out while lifting it up to put sheets on it and a bunch of blankets and yoga mat looking items fell out of it.

Owner's Response: Let's start with the traffic. We publish in our VRBO website a map of the location of the condo relative to the resort. No secrets there. And, yes, Waikoloa is a resort. It has a 1241 room Hilton, a Marriott, 500 condos, stores, restaurants. Stuff has to be delivered, guests transported, workers brought in, streets cleaned. Who would imagine that there would be no traffic? Since we have started managing our own properties guests have enjoyed over 1000 nights in this condo. We have had (and I checked) just three reviews which even mentioned traffic, two of them 5 stars and the other a four star. No problem there evidently. "An honest review"? Honesty is a two way street. Honesty is adhering to the terms of the rental agreement, cleaning up as you go and leaving the property in reasonable shape. It is not leaving the housekeeper to remove your kids' crayon messages from the tile floors. It is not using the king bed, two twins, the sleep-sofa and even an inflatable when you supposedly have 4 in your party. It is not leaving enough sand to fill 2 small pails. It is not leaving a turkey in the oven. It is not leaving the condo in such a mess that it takes our housekeeper 8 hours to clean it, and we have to compensate the incoming guest for not having the condo ready in time. We are genuinely sorry when a guest has a less-than-enjoyable experience, and we recognize that vacations cost money. But we do expect guests to take some responsibility for selecting an appropriate location, particularly if they have extreme aversion to ambient sound levels, water pressure, TV sizes, and hotel-quality beds which others find totally acceptable. And especially when they are not prepared to honor their signature on the rental agreement and to clean as they go. We will continue to try our hardest to create comfortable environments for our guests and enjoyable stays. But we only want guests who are prepared to hold up their end of the bargain.

This was our third time staying in the Waikoloa Resort area but our first time at Vista Waikoloa. My husband and I loved the location as it was an easy walk to Queen's Market or to watch the sunset...which we did almost every night. The rental agency was easy to work with and they stayed in close touch when it was thought that Hurricane Madeline was going to impact the area. We read a review before we chose this unit which commented on the traffic noise, specifically the bus and delivery trucks arriving around 5:30 am. We are early risers so, even though we are from rural Alaska and are used to complete silence, traffic noise was not an issue. Yes, we could hear traffic some of the time but the location, the beautiful pool and this well furnished condo were well worth it and it truly did not bother us. We loved this condo; the kitchen had everything we needed and we easily cooked "in" every night, the furniture was very nice quality, the bed was an extremely comfortable memory foam, the wi-Fi worked well and the condo was clean, very clean. We hope to return soon and we would choose this unit again, no question. Thank you to the owners and the rental agency for a wonderful and memorable trip.

We stayed at the Vista Waikoloa and it was just as described. It was beautifully decorated, ready with supplies and immaculately clean. We have stayed at the Shores and it was the same. Dealling with Lionel and Daniel was a breeze. They are so accomodating and make you feel at home. We are looking into staying there again next year. Wouldn't hesitate to stay at any one of their locations.
